Shutdown Dialog Problem

Save Dialog Problem

They look the same as they did before I changed the font back to default. I noticed today that the "Please Wait" dialog does the same thing as the shut down dialog.

Kurt-this are the same Screenshots!

You have Lucida Grande on your DownloadDialog Buttons. You must change the Fonts in the Registry.

i replaced the other stefanka sys files with these new ones on safe mode and it showed me 4 not found files:

Mspaint.exe

Sndvol32.exe

Sndred32.exe

Sapi.cpl

i replaced mspaint and sapi manually (did a search for the files and replaced them). i hope i did right :)

so after i replace this, is there anything else i should do? (besides the VS, wich i already applied)

Also, i have a problem with the Add/Remove Software link because i click it and it shows me an error of some Value creation failed. does this have to do with the sys files?

thankyou stefanka!

I know, what I'm saying is that when I changed the fonts back to default, it still didn't work. So as opposed to taking two new screenshots of the same problem, I just posted the already existing ones.

Try this. Change your Resoulution, than restart. And than set the resoulution back.

Nope, still nothin'.

First off, I would like to say that this is amazing work and looks fantastic. My only concern about it is that whenever a security update is released for windows, downloading replaces certain files and messes the look up.

Is there any solution to this - (ie do you intend to release regular patches :) ) or will I just have to live with it. As it stands Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB832894) already replaces a number of files and causes the downloading pink graphic as detailed earlier in this topic.

Thanks again for the great work.

Sweet, cant wait for the installer. it would be a lot easier for a lot of us. Thanks for all the hard work Stefanka, greatly thankful here (Y)

GOOD Job I just Love these files, but ONE tincy little problem. The shut down, restart, etc. dialog box is a little scrunched. any way to fix?

in other words the buttons look like

instead of its just a little messed up otherwise thanks for such a milky theme.

#114346

Hey Stefanka, great work... but:

I had to delete this line from the replacer.txt for the script to work...

Shimgvw.dll,Shimgvw.dll

I know this file is in my system32 folder, but I have no idea what it does. What am I missing? And how can I replace it if I want to? (Screenshots would be nice, if possible?)

As for the comctl32.dll, do I have to replace it while in Safe mode?

Thanks man! =) I've been waiting for this release, it rocks!

Many people says it works with XPSP1 Pro also.

Make a Systemrestore Point and test it.

No its for XP Home version not Pro there are some files that do not work with Pro version most of the GUI works but doing updates for windows is not working at all. Makes it look nice :D I am going to try and port to Pro with StefanKa's permision when I have the time.

#114658

It works fine for Pro. The windows update problem will happen on both home and pro, since the updates download new versions of some of the system files. You cant use windows update and expect the look to remain the same as Stefanka intended.
