Isnt there a trick to make it say for Example "Inbox - iMail" Like it was done on Firebird to Safari???

Very good one, but I also customized my Outlook express and I managed to get Outlook express working properly :6 :D

I think it's simply called Mail, without the "i". ;)

Anyway, that's a great comprehensive tutorial there, Bicet. Thanks so much.

Good initiative, Stevie. :who's your daddy: Thanks. ^_^

The Apple program is called Mail, if you want to cahnge to imail you must edit brandt.dtd and brand.propreperties.

Tnx for the compliments, hope this tutorials can help everyone

Excellent tutorial. However, when I get to step 5, the prog looks exactly like step 4, but when I uncheck the Menu bar, the icons disappear and the empty space where the File, Edit etc use to be is still there. I tried to trace back my stpes to see if I did anything wrong, but I can't seem to find the problem.

I've got the same thing as wizard encountered. Any ideas?

But it still looks good though, just that extra bit of bar right at the top... just that empty bar, that's all.

#107996

Same problem here with the emty bar

#108000

For all having problem:

You got to move all the icons to the file menu bar then if the text of icons disapeear select view as text, view as icon and then view as icon+text.

For the empty bar you got to uncheck mail toolbar and search bar. i think it should work.

Is it working?

#108003

Yeah works perfect ;)

Any idea how to speed up the mail popup

#108004

i don't have idea for the po up.Sorry

#108005

Hi Bicet, it works perfect now. Thanks so much. I'd help answer Wizard for you. ;)

@Wizard: We've got the icons onto the wrong bar. Bring it to the one above where we are currently placing the icons. Such that when you uncheck the mail toolbar, the lower one disappears. Got it? :naughty:

Really nice work, Bicet. Thanks again.

#108009

No problem. :D

Thats ok thanks for the great skin :rule:

#108014

I think the pop up is related to windows' GDI, so you cannot make it faster.

#108022

mail.JPG

#108028

#108032

Sorry about the Menu mix up. I got a little confused. Works like a champ now! (Y)

#108041

That's right.

And I think the same question had been asked for the Firebird theming as well. It's just all the various places where the replacements need to be made, and they differ from system to system.
