are u going to fix the menu so its accesible when active somehow, and not just for OB users. but other than that this is a great plugin
Could I make a request for consideration. I use sysmetrix, and I wonder if it would be possible to do two things:
1) Make the media player keys function work with itunes (it works with wm and winamp, but not itunes)
2) wm & winamp pass the track name, data rate and time elesped/total time of the current track, but currently only the artist and trackname come across from itunes.

Hey what were u telling about cygwin is it posible to open the .dll file in cygwin . I have vc++ and installed i also have linux so is it possible to open the file in it.
nkj:What are you using run as to do? To run itunes or to copy the plugin over? I meant to write over the dll with a new one. If you do what I suggest you should only have to use run as, on a file manager like 2xExplorer when you want to upgrade the dll. Not each time you run itunes.
Also, I meant you could also do file management in cygwin if you had it and knew how, if you ran a cygwin terminal as another user.
Localhost: if you can't fix it any other way could you put an option to not move the titlebar down? I think I would rather have extra space under it than have the drop shadow stick out a lot.

When I minimize iTunes, and then restore it, it always comes up really tiny-like, not like normal, where it is exactly the same size/shape as where I left it.
Also, I would like to recommend the music made me do it for lyrics(http://musicmademe.com), I use the site all the time, and (since most of the music I listen to is "indie" rock, it is the ONLY site that has ALL my music on it (lyrics I mean) as well as all that mainstream stuff too.

@localhost - it's probably a good idea to label your releases better than just naming them all MPlugin.rar. if you were to put the revision number in the name of the file, it would probably clear up some confusion and help people know exactly which version they are getting.
It's awesome... except for the winfx shadows (had to disable it for itunes) and that my ob doesn't detect the menus.

Make sure you go into the multiplugin options (right click on titlebar and choose it) and put a check for it to be objectbar compatible. It's off by default.
Just of of interest, for the menu's and non-ob users, if you press ALT and F, it'll open the first menu (file menu) and the you can use the left and right cursor keys to skip along the menus.

Well I have to admit this is a hundred times better than the executable was. But there is definitely some compatibility issues going on here and I do not think it anything to do with iTunes per-say. This thing skins beautify and I love the options and features that are built in. Before I installed it I read through all the posts and went right to the Apple site and downloaded the newest version of iTunes the 4.2xxx version. After installing it and letting the system reboot I gave it a try. I was very impressed with the results, but I am also having the mini mode resize problem. Hitting the mini mode button only restarts the present track or starts the playlist over. And after hitting the button all sorts of screwy things start going on. ObjectBar menus start sticking, ObjectDock will not open any shortcut to a folder or a drive only a menu to the shortcut, I can't access the start menu with the windows key on my keyboard, my mouse cursors get stuck and change to another cursor over menus, Explorer/Taskbar buttons stop working properly, and last but not least it just plain causes Firebird to act all goofy. In firebird the scroll wheel stops scrolling and starts resizing the fonts. If using tabbed browsing you can't change back to another tab, and there are a few other things going on as well. I could probably keep going and trying things to see what is and is not working. Now I can't blame all this on your plug-in but it is the main culprit at the heart of the issue. BTW if I log out and back in everything is fine and it seems I can run iTunes just fine if I remember not hit the mini-mode button. So there has to be something else at work here. Such as is the plug-in fully self contained is is it accessing any .dll files for its work. I as many of the Aqua-Soft forum reader and users use modified .exe's and .ddl files. So I am starting to think that maybe the plug-in is requiring access to certain system files that some of us may have modified versions of on our systems. I am just tossing out some ideas hre. I want to see this thing work right and the idea that I might have to do a complete fresh install just to get it to work isn’t going to make me very happy.
So this is what I am going to do I have a second system. I will do a clean install on it and install the newest iTunes I downloaded and see how everything works. I will then start to add my skinning apps and other modified apps and see how it works. The big test will be to see how it works the modified files .exe and .dll files in the big system conversion package. If anything is going to cause a problem it has to be these files.
I will post with an update as to what my results are.

im pretty sure it will be fixed in the future i dont really care about mini mode i never use it and the option of having objectbar recoginise the menu is the best i always wanted to have objectbar recoginise it and now thanks to you i have it thanks alot
p.s going off subject how can i make objectbar recoginise my flash fxp ftp menu? when i have objectbar active the menu dissapears and i really need it for my ftp if you or anybody can help me with this thank you

Now just a question - I just installed Firebird and noticed that every once in a while (still couldn't find a pattern to it) it starts flickering... maybe flickering isn't the right word. More like the site I'm on starts "dancing" (???)...
Now I thought this was a problem (obviously 
) but now I started thinking - I just installed the plug in as well.... hmmm... Now I don't think its MiniMode issues - since I don't use minimode... As I said - I haven't found a pattern to it and if I exit Firebird and re-enter - its fixed... for a while.
Don't know if it has to do with one another - but other than that - GREAT WORK!

Nah, it isnt any problem with the plugin. I used to that those problems all the time with Firebird and then I got some different like version of it and it stopped.
It did that to me, and i rearanged the icons in the top, it stoped doing this,
one thing i know, this is nothing to do with the plugin
as for the other issues, i have experienced none of them, and my comp has been modded beyond belief
im sorry for you lot, i can imagine it would be very annoying.
i use firebird and i noticed that the screen flickered when quicktime content was displayed in the web page. i have version 20031007 and it has stopped now. here's a test...go here ==> http://www.apple.com/quicktime/whatson/
For those with WinFX shadow problems, try this (if you haven't already):
1) Open WinFX options.
2) Go to "Shadows".
3) Go to "Modify".
4) Check "Adjust Shadows for Shaped Windows"
The downside is that this seems to make the shadows REALLY shrink, so you have to use a large shadow. I myself use Trio, and it works alright. Also note I haven't tried this with iTunes yet, but I will in just a moment. It works for other rounded apps like Trillian though.
