That would b real cool, so does the php file do all the hard work then? if you could make it customizable? just an ini file would do me.
anyway, im v.interested in this, so shud anyone interested pm you?
i know, i know, double post, buit this is a totaly different thing
downloaded your latest release, and noticed that the graphics dont line up again
could you please use the graphics that beric made, as they are perfect. (his post is on the first page)
thanx
Yer the PHP does all the hardwork. It stores the information in a MySQL database, and I can do whatever I want with it
I display top 30 tunes, and the tunes I've been listening to that day on my site.
Oh, WOW, I didn't think you'd add the objectbar feature in so fast! You are THE MAN (or woman).
There has been however a problem in the last 2 that I forgot to mention with windowFX. The top of the shadow seems to be pushed up a titlebars height over the itunes titlebar. Has anyone else seen this?

i guess WinFX adds the shadow without considering the window's region.
if it works this way, the shadow will also have problems with ANY rounded window.
i can't fix that unless i put the titlebar in it's original position and not a little lower, but that would be ugly and not like real OSX :/

this vesion uses the fixed bitmaps
Does this plug-in only work for any iTunes or just the latest version? Because I am experiencing problems.

It works fine in mini mode, and with other rounded brushed metal windows though.

maybe try to redownload it?
since v0.2 im using beric's graphics...
also check if the file version is 0.3....maybe it doesnt download well...
yah i'm getting ver 1.0 from the link also
Also, in beric's version, there is no distortion/pixelation above the close/min/max buttons
Great update. The only problem i have is i don't run as administrator so it won't output the file to the itunes folder(as i don't have write permission). Is there a way so that it can write it to the document and settings/application data/apple computer/itunes folder.
Also is it possible to output the album name, rating and no of times played .
keep up the good work (Y)
Hope u update soon. can't wait to use this thing
me likey much!
nkj one way (if you don't have cygwin) you could write over it if you don't have write permission is get 2xExplorer and run it as your main admin account and use that. Right click and choose run as.. then enter your password for Administrator.
BTW I found another problem, sometimes when I put it to mini mode it shows the full titlebar in the middle of the window until I min and restore it.
smoke:
I am using "run as" feature right now but i m not particularly found of it as i have to do run as every time i run it.
another question smoke
Hey what were u telling about cygwin is it posible to open the .dll file in cygwin . I have vc++ and installed i also have linux so is it possible to open the file in it.
this damn plugin messes my system up!!!!! can't use it:
-> no mini mode
-> when i press the +-button, a song starts to play (it normally should resize the window)
this plugin seems only to be for a very special kind of itunes version, btw i use the latest one and yessssss, i use the 0.3.0.0 version of the plugin which is simply resospensible for a very strange behavior of my wanna-be-mac >.< >.< >.

and again, the damn mini-mode bug ![]()
can't you read at least one page back?
the green button will work fine ONLY with iTunes 4.2!
its the 2nd or 3rd time i say this today...
For everybody having problems with the mini-mode button:
i've written: "i use the latest one...AND THATS 4.2!!!"
But to say it clear: I use version 4.2
and: object bar recognition doesnt work, mini mode doesnt work and it messes up my mouse when i put the +-button and it starts playing a song....so i will never push this damn button again....because i would have to restart my computer
greetings
are you sure it's 4.2? check it in the about dialog, maybe the upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 didn't go well for you...
it says "version 4.2.0.72" but maybe my itunes is lying

but i have overinstalled it ... maybe thats the problem ???
Is there any way to minimize to the systray with iTunes 4.2?

try pressing Ctrl+M in iTunes, if it goes to mini-mode then its 4.2...
if not, uninstall it and do a fresh install...
