Some Sugestions that would make me happy:
1. Start Menu, My Comp, My Docs.
2. Fade In/Out in between tabs transition, or a slide from (whatever side of the screen the tabber is on).
3. Drag/Drop items and shortcuts.
4. Skinability would be nice.
5. Auto-Hide.
6. A System Tray and Taskbar (i want to get rid of the Windows start/task bar)

One thing that could be pretty useful if Tabber2 is going to have an "always on top" preference, is a delay setting so that it won't pop open instantly when you hover your mouse over it. That can be rather annoying if you're doing some work in Photoshop or any other app that requires you to run it in full screen from time to time.
The layout looks great. If it's going to be as functional as it is beautiful, then I'm sure it's going to be a great launcher. Keep up the good work!

Mail already is cancelled, Alilm said so after the release of the Mail skin for Thunderbird, he was just building the Mail clone to learn how mail works or something.
