Great to hear you'll be working on a new release!
My suggestions:
- ability to dock to whatever edge you choose (I have my taskbar on top and most of the tab gets hidden by the taskbar)
- closing a tab by clicking on it would be good
- make the icon area size customizable
refer to your screenshot:
-make the left side bar (with the three buttons) only extend as high as the icon space
- make the area around the actual tabs transparent (i.e left of the Applications tab, right of the URLs tab and over the top of all the tabs) - hope you understand what I'm saying here.
There are also some good suggestions in the other thread for Tabber 0.1

Check this out, I have practically finished work on the interface, and heres what it looks like so far.
Looks pretty cool and theres room for everything I want on it.

XP_2003, love that auto-hide idea - looks great.
Alilm - note the tabs in XP_2003's demo...no background behind them...that's what I was trying to explain in my wishlist post above.

Alilm, I've found a dragthing clone, kinda. It's called CoolTabs, google it. Maybe you can refer to it or something. It's shareware, takes up a lot of resources and not very versatile. I didn't like it.

i agree - for some reason the background behind the actual tabs just doesn't look right to me.

The background should be gone when you dock it to one side of the screen, not when it's a floating window! 
What i want? A dock replacement that act like Windows explorer (moving icons, copy, cut and paste, renaming, adding folders and docs, etc.) and looks like the pic XP_2003 posted (below). Now that would be cool!

docklets in Tabber?! that would be too much!
Man, this is very different than what I thought, I was expecting some kind of tabs in the explorer windows. Tabbed browsing through the OS. This is much better!

-A poof when you drag an icon off
-When you click on it the icon is pushed in?
Those were just a few of my suggestions. I hope that you could add this stuff to it

yeah! you'll get a green thingy next to it and it poofs when you delete something
Yeah but Tabber aint Drag Thing. Its gonna be pretty different in what it offers.
