um I simply told him why I dislike him, he asked why... and no, he didnt say sorry to me, afaik. If he had of pm'd me I would respond with a PM, but I'd rather the mods see that he's still annoying people out in the open :) Thanks for your kind words though.

The bars look spectacular. I noticed in one of your previous posts that you said I didn't install the fonts. You are right, I forgot. I installed the fonts and it looks even better than it did before. It's still a shame I can't make a start menu shortcut. Damn Stardock.

How long did it take you to modify Iceman's bar? I'd like to learn how to modify your bar and make a Brushed one myself.

2) the fonts arent smoothed even if its allowed in the options

Goku, I checked off the option "Block WindowsFX from applying shadows to this bar" Under the main finder section - advanced. You can just uncheck that box :) (right click on the menubar, goto properties, and you'll see the title "Finder", the options under advanced there).

As for smooth fonts,if your running XP you may not have font smoothing on, or you may not have installed the fonts I included. To enable font smoothing in XP, right click desktop, properties - appearance - effects - "use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" - Stabdard

Hope that solves your problem. :)

Binary your bar is really great: i had decided on not keeping one on my desk but yours is so complete and beautiful that it made me change my mind.

As you have already noted, there are some problems for those (like me) who don't have C as the main drive. Couldn't you use system variables in your shortcuts instead of letters? ( those things like %systemroot%)

Super secret (ssh don't tell anyone)

Try this:

1. unlock your windows taskbar and resize it until it is pixel high

2. hide it with whatever program you like (optional)

3. Press WinKey

et voila! the start menu comes up from the top left of the screen! Perfect effect!

Binary, really nice job on it! Congratz man! I like the mouse over effect alot. Good job on the systray icons as well.

Goku, the font's are in the rar file. It's called myriad there are about 10 versions, and end in .otf just drop them all into your c:/windows/fonts folder and they will be installed and show up in the bar :)

Ok, so since aristotle pointed out that the Real Mac OS X Menubar doesnt seem to have shadows anymore, would you guys like me to take the shadows out of these themes? Or I can leave them in, or I can make two versions. Though it's quite easy to edit and save the theme yourself. It's up to you guys :) Also do you guys want mouseover effects on the display, volume, etc. buttons? I can add that I have the tiff's I just didnt think it really mattered. :)

Take out the shadows. There are no shadows in the real thing. Dont do anything that is not in the real one. I dont really care for the mouse over effects, but if they are in the real one then I'm all for it. If not though, dont put them in. Keep up the good work.

hmmm so you just want a 100% port, no originality? :( And the links working for me, try it again. It's just an ISP account so it may have hiccups from time to time.
