to get to the game hexic you need to click MSN games on the launch menu, ive patch this with the custom games over HERE

as for the send button mayb ill make two versions because i really dont like the round mac one.

i also have a mac, so screenshots rnt my problem, the issue is i cant extract the original MSN resources. so ill keep working on it.

going with my idea of using black tray icons.. i might have a go at making some...

i made 2 sets of black tray icons before... was working on a set 3, but i lost everything on my pc, on account of a virus, corrupt mbr, and to top it all.. ilost my patience with trying to fix it.. fdisk is your friend (Y)

This skin is excellent. Well done. But I was trying to replace the tray icons with some other iChat ones I found - I've managed to replace all of them except one. When you've just signed in, and the main window has appeared; the tray icon is the iChat bubble, with nothing inside it. I can't figure out which one to change in ResHacker. All the others have changed fine. All help is appreciated. Thanks :woot:

first things first, im making this skin for me and out of pure courtesy im sharing it with you. so with that said anyone that dosnt like my decisions will need to follow the lead of good Mr Simon and start editing things for themself. however once i finish this version, i think ill start working on a 100% duplicate of the Mac Version, but thats gonna take a bit of time. the other thing is acquiring the resources for such a project, thus far i have been unable to decompile the Mac Version of MSN. so if ANYBODY is willing to find out how, and do this for me it would be extremely appreciated.

@Simon, the image your looking for is a BITMAP and im pretty sure its bitmap 407 but since im not at home this very second i cant say for sure. however, if u send me the images u have, ill see what i can do

Well said - I think the skin is great.

I know exactly what you mean, though... I had exactly the same experience when I released my iTunes skin for WMP - everyone wanted something changed somehow. They forget that the reason we developers make these things is because we want something to be that way. We share out of goodwill and pride, not out of necessity.

If people realised how much hard work goes into what people like The Unknown and myself (and all the other talented developers out there - you all know who you are), I doubt they'd be so quick to complain... In fact, I think they would - they think that because we make it look easy, it is easy. I'd like to see some of the whiners release stuff from time to time.

Sorry, it isn't Bitmap 407. I thought it was bitmap 5, so I replaced that too; but it wasn't that one either. Here's the icon I mean:

That iChat bubble right there. Is it a bitmap or an icon? If so, which one? Any help is appreciated

@Simon - moglenstar is close, but now im on my machine i can tell u its bitmap 771. the first four are Online, Busy, Away and Offline. however i just decided to use those untill Mr Moglenstar has finished his art work.
