first off, amazing application
my only problem keeping me from using it for my main media player is that i cant load in directories of mp3's. if i could load in say, c:\media, and aquatunes would automatically archive the directories and let me double click on the where the playlists are to load them.

There is a serious aquatunes bug on my comp
When i first start the app, the play/pause button has a pause icon on it...
when i load up a few files, single click select one and press it, it crashes aquatunes... when i double click a file and it starts playing, clicking on the button acts "as advertised"...
one more thing... mp3 decoding quality SUX... very... are you using Directshow? or an independant codec?

i loved aquatunes til it crashed now i cant even get it to start. all i get is vbitunes out of memery.

So i whipped out my Wacom tablet, fired up illustrator and...
...after about half an hour listening to a lot of loud twang, surf and some Zeppelin, i came up with this

mmanson, haven't heard any comments from you. Is it that bad? 
Getting some feedback from you would be nice. Should i continue or drop the whole thing?

i havent been posting becuase i am trying to coordinate things with jef, and trying to debug aquaTunes while also trying to install Mandrake 9.0 on my machine. just for the hell of it.
considering the small amount of time on my hands, if there is anyone out there that wants to go in on this project with me (or maybe take it over from here), then email me (mmanson132@yahoo.com) and we can discuss possibilities.

I like that dolphin icon but how is it going to look being 128x128 or smaller?

Deciever, take a look in "Terminal" thread... there are two screenshots in there of my desktop with the "beta" version of icon in the dock... seems to fit in quite nicely ... i just have to tweak the colors a bit and then continue shading it...

i had the same problem with running out of memory. i dont know how i fixed it, but all i can suggest is that you uninstall aquacontrols, redownload aquacontrols and aquaTunes (although aquacontrols might have been updated again), and see if that works.

First of all, sorry to bore everyone with my icon AGAIN...
Worked some more on it and changed the color scheme... Headphones have gone bye-bye for a moment (until i complete shading the dolphin - they were getting in the way)...
Also have to blur part of the hilite so it looks like a gradient...
