If you run RunMe (RunMe must be closet at this moment) with XML with links as parameter, RunMe will appeared at cursor position. Can you please send me your "config.ini"? Maybe problem can be in combination of settings? (my mail: ksoft(a)nm.ru) Thanks!

WOW! I always wanted to replace the window's launchbar! anyway to permanetely replace it, RunMe should include also the tray bar! So u can add it in the Type menu of a item.
I found a problem. I added the Menu Programs folder. I try to navigate inside it but lots of time when I push a folder or the "up..." icon, RunMe goes in the move mode (move mode = if I want to move the order of a item up or down).
Also I find very usefull the "find Object" option but I suggest u that when I push the Right button, appear the Contex menu PLUS the find object button. I dunno how to do it but will be very usefull. Right now in windows I go in property > find destination, 2 steps is too much cuz I use this option frequently. So if u can implement it in the context menu it wolud be awesome.
Another suggestion for a better replacement of the windows launchbar. wHEN U ADD A NEW iTEM, on the type menu u can add the "programs menu", cuz windows use 2 different paths, "your username" and "All user", so if u add a type of the blending of the 2 it would be just like Windows.
p.s. If u can replicate exactly the order of window launchbar it will be perfect, adding "networks palcE, "printers" last used applications etc..
Anyway great job pls continue! I really want to replace that freakin windows launchbar!!!
This is a fantastic program and it really helps make my work more efficient. I've been looking for an application launch program that would make the organization of access of my programs more efficient and I think I've found it with this one. My only problem with this program is that the folder pop-up menus should be be taller and hold display more items on the screen, because displaying only 8 items at a time makes looking through folders with a huge number of files slow.

Ciano, please download new EXE (1st page), I've fix objects moving in folder menu.
On context menu, in this case I can't use preview for images (directly in menu).
Btw, with new version, you can use mouse wheel click on file/folder to show object in explorer (maybe that's even faster).
I did not plan to use Runme as full replacement of windows desktop, but I will think on Programs menu more. Really usefull thing, thanks.
You can use Run box in Vista style for Programs. Certainly not cute.

3. Is there a way of filtering the files extensions when adding a folder to the menu (and option for showing also the ones inside the subfolders) ? The reason for this is for example when you want to add a folder with 1000 files and want to see only the *.jpg files; or you want only the *.exe files shown. This would be cool.
4. Option for a tray icon might be in handy.
5. I have to right click on an item to show contextual menu (for settings). Can you make the contextual menu available when one right clicks on the top of the RunMe's window also (or anywhere else)?
6. When you make a new item and change your mind if you choose cancel, the item is still being created (New Item). This is not cool.

You need to change weather item parameter to:
%s in Moscow
to see any text after or before temperature.
Just please save %s and use any text instead of "in Moscow"

You should add folders to list on indexing tab (in Settings) and add Run item.
There are small bug. Add Run item, close Properties dialog and open this dialog again.
Then check "in Vista Style". And place this item last.

Currently no but that's really cool, thanks for idea. I think I can add extensions like parameters of Folder Menu item.

Tray icon now works only in "instead of Start menu" mode.

1. It works. How can i change the icon for this item (option is not selectable)?
2. Works a bit slow (i compare this function's speed with Locate32's but it's not fair, i know , sorry) but it's very useful.
3. I 'll be patient . Will there be a help file (or a quick ReadMe) where we can find out more about parameters that can be used for all the functions?
4. Tray icon has its "fans", so it will make RunMe more popular.
5. I asked this because "Delete" and "Properties" are so close and i might click on the wrong one and lose my Item.
Author=joby_toss (joby_toss@yahoo.com) is ok.
7. Hotkeys for some of the options (show/hide menu, fast search) and global hotkeys for direct launching of items would be nice.

Sure, RunMe can be placed on flash drive, just use "relative path" checkbox if you choose icon and file/document to run. All this stuff should be placed on one disc (disc letter will be relative).

Am -very- happy with RunMe 0.9: low on memory usage, quick to launch, nice looking graphics!
However: changes appearance from left side to top side just to try. Now, RunMe starts, the menu appears for about 1 second and then disappears totally... :-) Any way to change it back to original? I tried changing the x and y values in the config.ini but no luck...

@660207, I mean checkbox at bottom part of Open File dialog (when you choose file to run or icon/png file). Try to resize this dialog if you can't see this checkbox.
