looked nice until it started crashing repeatedly [just closes]
clicking on the screen crashes it
entering a log-in crashes it
oh well
Browsing, in Safari, using Windows, on a Mac... i feel dirty.
Also, Apple has implmented the slide out dialog box on Windows. That's pretty funky.

Nice to see Apple's expanding outside their little bubble...I'm another one for native UI though. These apps just look so out of place on Windows, it's as if they want you to remember that this isn't a Windows application.
@Carvetia: If you think you feel dirty now, just wait until Leopard comes out with built-in virtualization where you can run Windows applications directly from within Leopard. What's the world coming to?
@Furikuu: That's some strange language you've got there. I didn't know Aqua-Soft came in a secret-handshake decoder ring language. 
Off-topic: Come on Apple! Get into the 3rd party PC market already. Dell's offering Ubuntu now...you want that market share? That's the way to do it.
Also Off-topic: Anyone check out the new Finder for Leopard? Looks pretty cool...I'm glad to see they are unifying all their major application UIs. That's one thing Microsoft can/should definitely fire up their copiers for. They've done thumbnail previews the way they should be done - right. And with CoverFlow too.

So I am not the only one experiencing that problem? Now I know I'm not nuts. 
If I'm not mistaken, it seems to be a simple substitution cipher it's using. Which is even more confusing since if it was random garble it might have just been a font issue. And if you copy/paste the garble, it comes out as it's supposed to be.
It might be a Unicode glitch...

It makes most of the sites I visit look like sh!t.
I don't care for Safari's font substitutions.
My wifes web site looks great when viewed by any browser EXCEPT Safari.
IE, great... FireFox, Great... Mozilla, Great... Opera, same... Safari, sucks.
Looks like crap on the Mac version as well.
This has been and always will be my main complaint with Safari. Render the pages as they are written, don't "substitute" anything. That includes embedded controls also.
I realize this is a beta, but its had these "issues" since day one on a Mac, now they dragged them into Windows.
I guess if Safari is all one has ever used, one wouldn't notice these "issues".

Well, I've installed Safari three times in Windows Vista, and this is what it looks like:

Yeah, kjohnson. I have the same problem with Windows XP Home Edition. I uninstalled it right away. Who needs Safari in WIndows when I got a macbook?

This really is like surfing on a Mac. And to think I just made the font smoothing satisfactory enough on Firefox...
Safari is still a bit buggy on my computer, but I have to say, but only when I'm trying to add bookmarks...this is nice, though. Pages render really fast. Now if only there was a way to skin this like iTunes had Multi-Plugin...that would make my life.
It's still in Beta, so of course it's going to be a bit buggy, but overall I think it's great that Windows users can finally use Safari. Bravo, Apple!
Does anyone knows, why opening or importing Bookmarks causes Safari to crash? I'm using Windows XP Pro atm, but I will test it on Vista, too. That is really annoying, but nevertheless, I waited for a Windows version of Safari for really a long time. I hope that Apple will release more Betas before the final version comes out in October.
Btw: Does anyone knows if this built-in PDF viewer will be available for Windows, too?
It's still a beta, so I'm not holding most of the errors against it... yet.
I also found out one really strange thing: When I want to see the list of my installed plug-ins, a new window pops-up, saying this:
"Safari is missing important resources and should be reinstalled."
Maybe this comes because I have downloaded the version without QuickTime? QT is of course installed, but I will try the version with bundled QT...
Edit: I just have installed the version with integrated QuickTime and I've got the same problem. Also a little bit annoying: I can't use my back- and forward-buttons of my mouse...
