I mean if you have like a LogiTech or MS mouse you can use the mouse utility to program the button to be F9, in the control panel

This is one great app, downloaded the last version but this one has a firm place in my startup folder, thanks Siwu

A quick question though, Is there a way to set the x, y co-ordinates for the screenshots? (My screenshots always appear under the taskbar at the top)

If it is not possible then I think this would be a great feature for the next version, don't you think?

this PrintWindow API is not included in w2k and older windows.

well if you have the mood try to get a user32.dll from a windowsxp and we hope the system won't crash :-)

Well, I was bored tonight. So I thought, "wonder if there's an expose like program for windows..." so I typed it in google, and voila! Actually wasn't expecting to find anything, but I downloaded it, and I'm using it. Wished meh computer was faster. Well...one day I'll have enough money to buy a REAL mac.

Anyone know what ini settings I need to change to make the thumbnail windows larger? Like when I have it show all windows in an application or all together, is there a way I can make it as large as it will go, and they get smaller as I have more windows? Or is this the auto resize thing someone mentioned? Ah well. I'll check back later.

Nice Program.....now someone has to port OSX to pc...hehe. eh. ahem. anyways. Good work.

I just figured out what "just edit the .ini file" means

so for all of you non computer programmers (nerds), here is step by step how to make this great program work for you!

1. First obviosly download the program to a convienet place where you can find it once it has finished downloading.

2.Open the file with winrar or winzip. I used winrar, not sure if winzip will work. (If you have neither they can be found at www.download.com.

3.If you try and run the application first it wil give an error telling you to first "edit the .ini file"

4.open the iEx.ini file and scroll to the bottem edit the 0 to a 1 and "save as" and type in iEx.ini and save this to the desktop.

5. Having the folder open with the application in it and delete the origional iEx.ini and replace it by draging the new one you just created into the folder.

6. Now double click the app. and it should work

7.Sorry for making such a simple thing so complex (this is for the computer nerds out there)

8.But really anyone on an aqua-soft forum proves the fact that they themselves are a computer fag

Hi Siwu:

Just interested, but would it be possible to re-link your app with user32.dll (statically) so that those of us that don't have WINXP can use it.

Basically, USER32.dll in win 2K does not have the procedure API called PrintWindow.

If this is not possible, could someone with win2k post their user32.dll on this site for download? I want to try and put it in my iex directory and see if it works.

laterz

#90513

make a copy of your user32.dll in windowsfolder/system32 and overwrite the original with this. i'm not sure whether it works. be careful..

#90594

I have a powerbook and a Win XP computer, so I'd realy like expose also on the PC but everytime i download a version of IEx and open the rar archive, there is only the changelog. could anyone be so kind and pack the files in a zip file and mail it to me? In Reply to SEN:

hi SEN,

I put the user32.dll in the working directory for iex, renamed it to user30.dll, and changed all references to user32.dll in the iex.exe file to user30.dll. (using a binary editor)

guess what. It found PrintWindow!

BUT. It now needs another entry point which is in ntdll.dll. I need the xp version of this. Anyone have this? I really want this to work with Win2K.

cheers

Aleem.
