Real panther display the app name on mouse over. Except that the image is turned to grayscale.

I don't know the font, but in real OSX, the image is covered in gray, and the text rectangle has round edges and the text can come out of the screenshot window.

I like how the RGB values can be adjusted, as can everything else through a quick .ini edit - very nice. Do you have any plans to incorporate a Control Panel dialog (with maybe a RGB color picker???

congratulations, siwu! this is the best and most useful software ported from macos.
i use a dock as my shell so i disabled explorer and i have no desktop with icons. when i use iEx without 'desktop' the windows will leave a print on the screen under the thumbnails of iEx. the screen corner activation works only when i maximize a window. iEx doesn't work properly without an environment that covers the screen (?!)
and i would like to re-arrange ethernet's post:

umm try using explorer? It only makes sense
but i don't need explorer - i use other filemanager, i use alt+tab to switch apps so i don't need taskbar. i don't use start menu and system tray.
i don't click icons - i rather work with a hotkey manager and run programs with shortcuts (keyboard buttons).
explorer would be a waste of memory on my computer. totally useless - i recommend everybody: kill explorer

No because the Mouse Hooking works only with an explorer. Because when you move the mouse, it always go into a window (either the desktop window or a application window). That how the screen corner activation works. When the mouse moove in a window, iEx gets the current mouse position and see if it's a corner of your screen.
As for the resolution thing, currently, the screenshot windows size is set to 300 or less in height. And a screenshot window cannot appear outside of your screen. (Cause iEx check for the resolution).
I plan to implement an auto resize feature in 0.3, which would resize depending of the screen res and the window number.
Finally, for the "window print". Well, after hiding all the windows, iEx redraw the entire desktop to erase those prints. I'll see if I can improve that feature.
My only issue with this program is that the F9 feature is a little slower than norm, even on my comp at work (P4 2.8 ghz / 2gb ram)
