A little update: powerMac G5 2.5 dual, 8 gb ram, 2x 150 gb drives - RAID; 23" Apple Display ![]()
^^ Pimp-tastic! ![]()
Exquisite!
Cinema Display is just gorgeous!
Question: Whats that Apple Box in front of the tower?
I know!:D
Here's another pic - a little bit better one:
Very nice. Very well organized. What are those speakers again?
It's the usb drive - MyBook - 160 gb
I just put Apple stickies on it ![]()
the speakers are of course - JBL Creature ![]()
oh!! Ha, I thought it was an Apple product's box...never would've recognized it! ![]()
Wow those Creature speakers are small....what wattage are they?
I wish I had a Cinema Display for my MacBook. Anyway, I am getting an iMac. That's close to a Cinema Display.![]()
@Psycopulse: you should get the new keyboard and a wireless mighty mouse.
I just sold the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse and Bluetooth Apple Keyboard - the white one. Mighty Mouse is the worst mouse ever created and I'm changing the keyboard for the new aluminium one
I'm using Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse - the best mouse ever! But, I use mouse only in 4% of my work - all I do i do with tablet and keyboard ![]()
Here's an update on my setup. My last post was in January so some things have changed. I now have a new desk, and the new aluminum keyboard from Apple. I also sold the old Dell.

Mac mini 1.66ghz Intel Core Duo
2 GB RAM
80 GB internal HD, 120 GB external
Superdrive
Samsung 22" widescreen
Creative speakers
New aluminum Apple keyboard (best keyboard I've ever used!)
Kensington trackball (will be replacing with something wireless soon)
5th gen iPod in dock/card reader

Oh yeah... How could I forget the specs??
> Main tower is a "sleeper"... crappy case, decent guts.
> Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.0 GHZ w/1333 FSB & 4M L2.
> Western Caviar SE16 750GB SATA hard drive @ 7200 RPM
> 2GB (2 x 1GB) Corsair low latency DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) RAM
> Most importantly: SLI twin XFX GeForce 8800GTS PVT80GGHE4 Video Cards, each w/ 320MB GDDR3 :-)
> Lite-on SuperMulti & DL w/lightscribe x 2 internal, one external HP supermulti w/lightscribe, and one external LG supermulti w/Blu-ray (that cost a penny).
> Tri-boot: XP Pro, Vista Home prem., & Mac OS X..... still waiting for Leopard.... tick tock...
> 22" AOC Widescreen monitor w/1000:1 contrast, D-Sun DVI, and 3ms relay.
> more external flash drives and other crap than one can shake a stick at.
> Logitech MX Revolution wireless laser mouse & Logitech Media ELite EX600 wireless keyboard, and more wireless equip then I care to list.
> piece of **** compaq presario C571NR Notebook w/Vista home prem. & stats which are just plain embarrassing (think 1GB Ram and a video card not even worth overclocking... hey, it was cheap).

The MX1000 is the second best. ![]()
The MX Revolution is the best. ![]()
I've owned both and the Rev. is amazing!
I concur! The MX Revolution is "the bomb".... the stand which recharges the battery is just pimp, and the endless customization/auto-shifting scroll wheel is killer.
