There have been quit a few tutorials, I think a tutorial forum where users can submit various tutorials would be helpful...it's a lot easier to see them in one place.
Maybe an Instant Messaging forum that incorporates the major IM apps (Trillian, Miranda, etc..)
I second the motion for a seperate Mozilla apps (Firefox, Thunderbird, SunBird) skinning forum.

I like the tutorial forum idea... that might make decent posts. But not sure about the app forums, seeing is those won't get alot of topics, its gonna make the place look more and more dead with 50000 more forums added.
Hmm, but how many tutorials would we really be able to get? I'm sure we could get plenty of threads for a Mozilla forum, as well as an "IM Apps" forum...and if not, we can just move all those threads back into Application Skins or somesuch.
There are probably some older forums we can close, actually...

I also might add with a browser skin forum, a ton of released skins wont be in the right place and it would be a big pain in teh a$$ to move them all...

i really miss the thank you button. what about a thread were users could post there reviews on all kinds of stuff. hardware, software, themes, walls, etc. Like a large subforum of ratings. The best and worst of everything.
A tutorial forum would be nice, there all new comers can post their questions about Miranda, Firefox etc instead on the "third party applications" sub-forum. It would be quicker to access and a whole lot neater.

And forceably quieting of people who disagree with the management, except in a certain sub-forum (like free speech zones).
And definately a faq/tutorial forum so we can yell at peoples to check there.
That or we have a usenet group.

FAQ Ideas, to answer the common ones that might be hard to search for:
1) What is this icon thingy? (Answer: AveDesk)
2) What's this on the taskbar? (Answer: True launch bar)
3) The popular icons

I think that some of the Firefox skinning tutorials don't work on the newer versions of Firefox. Try cleaning those up.

what are you looking for?
*A dark forum skin.
*A Firefox skinning tutorial that actually tells you HOW to skin Firefox and not just little adjustments/mods here and there.
*Forum music channels - some kind of feed for the forum browsers where they can choose between a few varieties of music as they browse or could just turn it off.
*Get rid of the huge space at the bottom of forums pages.
*When new members sign up lock them into the forum with FAQ's and forum rules until they've read everything. Then they can have access to the rest of the forum.
