Other than that, you can google for them and choose 'images' as your search.@NC: Ah the fading/animation - some people have no trouble with it while others...Unfortunately, it's as streamlined as I can make it. Any more and it would be choppy. I will add in a toggle though to turn it off. This is probably the easiest way around it.
yeh please leave the fadinganimation as like an option, bevcause that effect really gives a great look to the
application.

will you be able to open .iso (or for that matter, any other) type of file in RC2? I'm sure that there are more people than myself who would like this feature

@Enjoilax: You should be able to change the default player in the preference pane. If you've tried this and it still doesn't work, try opening the VideoShelf.ini file found in the folder and manually entering the path to the desired player.

I took a couple days hiatus and created Porthole. A simple wallpaper changer. It was something I'd wanted to do and was a pleasant distraction. I will now be concentrating on getting VideoShelf finished. RC2 should be available by week's end.

EDIT: Still think this app is great and has tons of potential, but I have a lot of problems so far
# I click to add a DVD automatically from Amazon, window pops up, I enter "Pulp Fiction" for example and hit OK etc, choose a movie from the list and hit enter... then the app just freez, it just sits there like a statue :confused:
I can't even quit the app, I have to kill the process...
# When I search for Actor or Director nothing happens
# Add DVD manually does not work (I know some people talked about this already)
# As a matter of fact, even the About box won't open here :confused: (Looks like all the links in the drop-down menu do not work :confused:)

This is the most amazing Community app I've EVER seen. I LOVE it.
But you know what the problem is? I didn't even know about it untill today, because the news is completely dead!
I think a really cool feature to be added would be support for Books, Playstation 2/X-box/gamecube games, and custom shelves & walls (skins).
Also, I added Kill Bill Vol. 2 twice, accidently, and I can't delete the second one.
And, one last thing, I think the <+> buttons should be a diferent color then grey, when active. It's kind of hard to tell when they are clickable.
It's been a while, just waiting for an update...
Sorry about the lack of updates...RL has just been getting in the way. Everything as of now is feature complete and ready for release. I'll try to get it uploaded later on today.
@Sean: For now I won't be adding any new features. Having said that though, I will be looking into it for version 2.

This should be done later on tonight after I've packaged everything up. I hope the wait will have been well worth it. I'm very excited about it.

I've been incredibly busy the past few nights and only God knows how tired I am...I'll try getting around to it tonight.
I cant get this to work with my internet connection and Zone Alarm keeps blocking this program. Any help, please?
Manually allow VideoShelf in ZoneAlarm...? It's been ages since I've used that software so I can't walk you through it step by step but if I remember correctly it shouldn't be too difficult. Also, you could disable ZoneAlarm while using VideoShelf if you can't figure it out.
Really nice job with this thanks for the release, now for a nice icon for the dock. Thanks again really wonderful addition.
