Which is the version of WindowFX that everybody is using?
I tested some versions.
2.12 was slow.
2.2 was early but shifted the shadow.
The shadow of the Mac style was not able to be used for 3.0(trial
version).

Thank you for the tutorial....eyeball1978I modified the milk theme,of which bitmap resource is a little different from bister you mention here...
I heard that in this new version of iTunes, some core program resource stucture has been changed,so maybe there will be sometime before new version of theme are submitted.
Can you tell me what to change on the Milk theme?
In order to correct the Bister skin, I renamed the following bmp's as follows -383 -> 385
382 -> 384
381 -> 383
380 -> 382
........
121 -> 123
120 -> 122
119 -> 121
118 -> 120
The above changes will fix the issues most are likely seeing with iTunes buttons. I am sure there are other changes that may be required as well, but this resolves the most noticable of the issues after upgrading to 6.0.5.20.
thanks man i was worried id have to start my skin all over again
Hey,
Great plug-in! Nice work.
I only have one question. Which font is the right one to use, to make it look like a proper mac iTunes? The default font (Lucinda Grande) just doesn't look right to me.
Thanks,
Kolosomo
Hey guys, this isn't working for me anymore.
Can someone help me out so that Multi-plugin works with the newest version of itunes?
The multiplugin tab doesnt even show in preferences anymore, so IDK whats up.
I'd say it's about time for localhost to get off his buns and get us an update. How about you guys?
(that was meant kindly, mind you)
That's what I was wondering you know?? It's been really really looooooong we've seen LocalHost around??
Anyone knows where he's been all this time?
I have a hunch he's more involved in OSx86Project, but I might be wrong....
OSx86.... hmm..... That makes sense... I pray he gets some time free for Multi-Plugin... ![]()

Is there any easy way to figure out how to renumber the bmp's for other skins or could this be basically the most universial system that will work for all skins?
Does anybody see iTunes crash when you try to synch a large number of photos? I'm using v6.0.4.2 and the version of Multi-Plugin that's at the start of this thread. iTunes crashes every time when I try to synch several hundred photos. It synchs flawlessly without Multi-Plugin.
It's a known bug with MultiPlugin and iTunes when synching Large Number of Songs or Photos, though Photo's crash was rarely heard. But yes, it's there and so far it's not actually fixed... so all you can do for now is Uninstall MP sync and then reinstall for regular usage.
It seems like the foobar pass-through is broken in 6.0.5.20 for me. Is anyone else having this problem?
@aleph:not really.... unless you are using Foobar 0.9.x !!! cause Foobar 0.9.x is not supported on Multi-Plugin !! if you are using Foobar 0.8.x then please let us know more details about problem (if you are getting any errors)
Hi!
My name is Nick and I got despaired with Hebrew on IPod. I did have it but with the last ipod updater there is a problem with Hebrew update - it's not possible to click on "update", only on "restore".
I read on this forum that in multi-plugin version 2.2 there was a button to "prepare for update" that bypassed this problem. This option is apparent absent from the new 2.3 version. Could you help me please?
Thanks in advance
I have two feature suggestions (to an otherwise great plugin, thanks) for you:
* Last.fm support, maybe even getting submitting songs played on the ipod to work (the source for iScrobbler and iSproggler is available, but I don't know if that's something you can use). Mainly because it would be great to have it available in iTunes and in the options menu.
* Library update function.
Have not touched my foobar install... still 0.8.3.
Now it is just silent when I select the foobar passthrough- a foobar process is visible in the task manager but it sits at 64k of memory usage and does nothing. There are no errors or anything like that.
Also when I try to launch the foobar preferences from the multiplugin itunes options tab it does nothing.
I don't know exactly when it stopped working, I was forced to uninstall multiplugin right after I upgraded itunes because my 5th gen ipod sync was crashing. I may see if reverting to an older itunes will solve my issue.
for some reason multiplugin dosnt work for me anymore. i installed the newest itunes out now and i tried installing multiplugin, still nothing.
Hi, I, like a few others, have had an awefull lot of trouble with the passthrough. I have the newest itunes, (6.0.5?) and foobar 9.2, along with multiplugin 2.3.
my foobar in installed to the default location, and my itunes is as well.
When i try to enable the passthrough, i get the dreaded "foobar 2000 is not installed. Passthrough will not be enabled" message.
I have read through previous posts of people with the same problem, but still have no idea whats gone wrong.
can anyone give a definitive reason or how I can fix this?
thanks!!!
Well, if you really READ correctly... then you'll know that Foobar 9.x is NOT supported, only Foobar 8.x... ![]()
I could have sworn that I tried that... well,. though your reply was terse, thank you very much for your help!
I was wondering if there was a way to restart your settings for the plugin. As stupid as my sister is, she set the opacity to 0% and now not only can I not see iTunes, but it doesn't seem to be actually there anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both iTunes and Plugin but it seems to stick =X Help?
--------nvm figured it out, sorrryyy-------

I'm having some issues with mine.

Notice on the bottom how the buttons don't show up correctly (skin installed on my computer is on top, actual skin is on bottom).
Am I not using the settings correctly or what? can someone help me?
And this happens with all of my skins, not just this one.

I'd suggest finding the thread in the Customizing Windows XP section, titled "Smooth Lucida Grande", then if you scroll down, you can find my personalized Lucida Grande font, which in order to use, you must first 1) delete your existing Lucida Grande fonts, 2) Set your font smoothing to standard (display properties, appearance, effects, second drop down menu), 3) Restart (Trust me), then install my Lucida Grande font, then it should look pretty much like a Mac iTunes.
When you attach a shadow to iTunes using WindowFX, which is the version of the WindowFX?
I can attach a shadow to iTunes, but the shadow attached to the usual window will shift, or operation will become extremely slow.
