Amazing dock, I can't believe this is a beta its insane. I Think the genie effect is cool yeah its a little slow but after all this is a beta, and its free if you don't like it the don't use it. At least its out and its only going to get better from here i'm running a X850XT PE and a amd 4400+ dual core cpu and it and runs good its use only 25% at most of my cpu so i am happy. thanks RaduKing.

Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Turning on 'Same Instance' by default is perhaps the most useful feature of all. I've been running the beta for a long time now, but this is fantastic. I just wish I didn't have labs all day and can't play with it :-(

But unfortunately the same problem with the Genie effect. Running on a Amd64 3200+ with Geforce6800Ultra here.
But aside from that this will become my new dock for a while :cool:

Many thanks for a great work! Love the polish in this version - everything smooth and stable. The Genie effect is smooth but somewhat slow - the minimize animation takes two seconds exactly. There is no maximize animation.
My system: Windows XP, P4-3.0GHz, ATI X800XTPE

dude, after dl'ing the genie effect...
you must have a mad computer... mines pretty schmick... but the effect takes like 10 seconds to work... thats with 2 gig of ram, and very good gpu...
what machines did u test it on to decide it was fast enough?

Though not super fast, Aladdin's Lamp Effect is working with my X800XL satisfactorily. Don't forget that none of ObjectDock, RocketDock, Y'z Dock and its clones has this min/max genie feature. RK has done an awesome job. :cool:

Personally, I would have been a bit concerned about the major similarity to OS X for legal reason, especially with the default names of the items and their icons. But once again, cool app and I'm looking forward to the next version!

The lamp effect is excellent, smooth with per-pixel windows and doesn't matter where the dock is positioned, just as I hoped.
I haven't used a mac in a long time so I don't recall how fast the genie effect should be but to me, in terms of speed, it's damn near perfect. Again, I'm not in a position to compare to the effects and speeds of the mac dock so maybe my expectations weren't as high. My specs btw are:
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 750 (1.86 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
* - Microsoft Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
* - 1GB, DDR2,400MHz
* - 128MB DDR ATI's MOBILITY™ RADEON X300 PCI Express x16 Graphics

Wow, good work. When you get this genie effect running faster and smoother it may be time i finally replaced my long trusted friend Yz Dock. I use my dock on the left, not the bottom as most ppl, but the icons seem to be narrowed for some reason compared to when my Yz Dock is in the same position, anyone know why?
Radu, many thanks for this version. I know you must have worked hard on the genie effect but what makes this release great for me, is the working minimize exclusion list!!! (though the genie looks very nice, too )
