Launch shortcuts with style!

Description

RK Launcher is an application that will allow the user to have a visually pleasing bar at the side of the screen that is used to quickly launch shortcuts. With support for themes, PNG's and ICO's and with smooth amazing animations, RK Launcher is a versatile and great taskbar replacement.

Because RK Launcher is still in development and not all requested features have been implemented yet I chose to call this release 0.4 Beta.

the genie effect doesnt work for me!! it uses 100% cpu and its to slow! how can I fix this? this the best dock ever please help.

only scale effect shows up.. how do i enable the aladdin effect?

ok so the aladdin effect is extremely slow for me, and maximize effects dont work for both scale and aladdin effects.

mubach i believe its for windows only.

im on 1.7 centrino and its fine, there is a like 1-2 second lag before the alladin effect but its smooth.

make sure u have direct x 9c

Would be helpfull I guess if you also give your systemspecs (including GFX card) if you complain about the genie effect being slow/not working....

AMD Thunderbird 1GHz

nVidia GeForceFX5500OC

Graphics card should be fast enough, although WindowFX says nVidia cards don't support things like this and have to use a "fallback" mode for higher speeds...

I know my CPU isn't very fast, so I'm not complaining about the lag before the effect starts. But the effect itself is slow.

There you go, nVidia problems.

Running on DX9c as well. So that can't be the problem.

Radu, if you can find out how the "fallback" mode works and get it into RK, we all nVidia users would really appreciate it.
