Aqua-Soft is in the need for some new staffers, our newsposter team needs a few staffers to help keep the main page alive and well, you can check out their thread over here.
We also need at lease 2 new mods, for the forums. Since I really do not keep in touch with most of the members here, I really can't recommend anyone that is very active here, keeps their cool, and is a very respectable member.
So I'll ask the community for their suggestions on members here that might do a good job as staff.
Timan, I'd be willing to offer my assistance being a mod in some of the technical forums.
GD requires someone with more time than I have available. That baby needs way too much watching.

I would be able to moderate pretty much any of the forums. The times I'm online vary, but most of the weekends, and evenings for GMT -6 is a pretty safe bet.
I think all of the current mods will vouch for me.

I'd offer my help too, I have experience as a mod at macthemesforums.net (thers little to mod there really.), and have that edgy "unbeliever" type attitude towards dealing with people. I'm also in contact with the current mods a lot (seph+unbe+pe8er).
Well i own a site Microgamez.tk and i can help at the hardware forum and i do have lots of knowledge with macs and well moderate knowledge with windows (im a total mac freak). so i can help if i am chosen even if i am not though and i can be tough and am a great decision maker.
NC , Mau or rjohnstone would make great mods 
I'd like to nominate myself as well... I'm currently a Moderator at AeroXperience, and you should know better than anyone that I was a Mod and Administrator at Aero-Soft.

I have experience on forums like penguinmagic.com (though I was banned some time after for some political reasons, biased admins) and thedigitalsenate.com, which is small but growing.

I have to say, I find myself wanting NC to be mod as well, his avatar and sig combo dont scream mod however....

I would say NC is a good choice... he's good people.
My thing is more from a technical perspective.
I don't have a desire to mod things like GD type forums as they tend to go into areas that can get personal. If not for me, they can be for others.
You then have to deal with issues of political correctness, which I hate, and topics which may cause animosity towards other board members.
This is the reason I offer my services in more of a "limited" capacity.
I've been in this industry for almost two decades now and love to work with people who are proficient in programming, graphics desing and general coding. I respect their talents.
No offense intended, but most of the kids tend to poke around and leech in the GD and release forums and the real talent and life blood of this site is in the App and Customizing forums.
At work, I'm paid to keep these types of people from having to deal with the morons that want to distract them from doing what they do best.
There is a big difference between offering or supplying input to a programmer or designer and just plain hounding them. I protect my guys from that at work and would do the same here. I would expect that from any mod.
It's only an offer and I would not be offended if it's not accepted.
See... I can be normal and polite when needed.
