I am not trying to be a schmoe. But i came here because tim in another site said he was giving this skin FOR FREE. So I come here, and now I have to donate something. At this moment I dont have any way of sending him anymoney... and i would really like his skin so what else can i send him in exchange for it?

I just think he shouldnt have posted it was available freely if he wasnt going to give it for free.

People at the place he posted it *****ed and moaned about not wanting to register. cool I dont give a fig about registering and when i do i find that now i have to donate...

you know I dont mind shelling some money to help the board around, the problem is now i cannot shell it because paypal doesn't want to register my account, and that has me screwed up since I cannto send him money any other way.

I can send him a postcard... mail him some cash... I dunno... but i cant put a cent electronically.

I'd hold off on donating, just wait till I get the invision board port done, that way things are easier for to get the skin.

You've just bought vB and you can't afford buying this skin? It's not like it costs much. I donated $20, what you donate it up to you. It's just symbolic. Timan and AS deserves that much, seeing as they put together one hell of a site and skin.

On the vB vs iB take for me. I've used both. I've used iB since v1.2 and it was good all the way up to v2.X. Now it's just bloated and stupid. I never used vB v2.X so I can't speak about it. But I changed to vB 3 last year, and I'm never ever going back. vB is by far the most advance and well written forum out there. Yes, it does use a lot of quires to run, and can get somewhat slow with bigger boards. But the functionality and wealth of options is staggering, atleast if compared to iB. It also has one of the easiest skinning systems in any board. Hope that helps.

P.S. And guys, please stop sending me emails asking for the skin. I'm never going to send it to you.

Hi.

I have modified in the CSS of the style, in the part of the size of the letter I have put 12px (before it had 11px) since with 12px it is easier to read to the being bigger the letters.

But I have a problem, and it is that now the button of logout works out messed up, one capture:

How can I solve it?

um someone ported this theme to wordpress a while back....it's still up for distribution on the forum for smf ....i don't know if anyones allowed it but i personally don't like it...it's not that great....i modded mine to look a lot like aquasoft but then i took it off as i'd rather that aquasoft would get more publicity than my forum...also i didn't really need one as my site is an online portfolio of my work (but i have not put any of it on the site yet)

Well now that I read last week that 2.1 is due out soon, I'm not going to start the port till it is released. The way MATT messes up his template system every time there is an update, so I'm just gonna wait.

But I will release it for IPB 2.1 and VB3.5
