[Release] Safari fx 1.0 Preview Release

Xero's Brushed theme looks hideous with this, and the VS that it says on the bottom of the preview pic is a MSStyle and not a WB theme.... help?

Hey, I had the same problem. I searched the net but there is no fitting WB theme. So what I did was load Hill's Brushed 3.5 theme in Skinstudio and save it as an wba file. It works just fine with windowblinds per application setting and it matches the firefox theme perfectly. I did have to edit Brushed 3.5 a little to get the close, min, max buttons to the left side but it was worth the trouble

I tried this with one of the more recent nightly builds.

Resulted in the caption bar becoming non-existent, and the entire program becoming extremely laggy. Skin looks great, but it would help a lot if someone here could give insight into what my problem would be.

I believe the progress meter height should be 29 (the same height as URL bar)

On Linux it's horrible, I've noticed a few themes do this. What happens is when its launched after changing the skin, only parts of it show up, and freeze kde for a few seconds at a time. It's totally unuseable =

On linux this theme looks great...a definite improvement over the hills theme. How to I get tab close buttons? I can't get them to show with tabmix or tabbrowser. Perhaps the tab mod should be included in the download. I would also suggest including the user.js file to make selected text blue.

I love this theme....absolutely love it. I love the fact I don't have to use that stupi tab browser extension to get it to look right. However, I miss having my little apple Icon for my compact menu. I have tried and tried and it just won't work. I am using the compact menu Mod that already has the apple menu, but when I go to apply the theme, it disappears. Has any modded this theme to get the aple menu to show or can someone tell me how to do it. Like I said, I am using the modded compact menu that has the apple Icon, it just won't show up when I apply the skin. Thanks for any help.

really fast for me , it could be from your tabextensions version and build (i use the none lag version from hills with modified xpi)

And for linux , when i install the tb extension and mod it, it just crash with a strange message while opening the main window.

Ok i must say ...this is an amazing mod. I've had some trouble with Hill's theme and all the components that have come out to get it to work right. This one was simple to install and looks beautiful. Had my safari browser in less than 2min. Just read the instructions and have fun.

On a side note, i also am not using tabextensions. This might explain why i am not having any problems.

Now that Firefox 1.0.3 is out, the browser.jar file creates an insane right click menu... The rest of browser.jar works fine, but this right click thing has to be tweaked somehow.. My menu goes into the stratosphere with options... lol

Please help.

Update... fixed it myself..

Just replaced the new Browser.css, berowser.js, and the browser.xul from the new version of browser.jar and installed them into the old one from the Safari FX relaease.. fixed my problem.

Awesome theme. I love it. Nice job.

whoa , finally managed to mod my way out of this , now i have a small apple button for my compact menu extention , i also modded the gmail notifier plugin look on extreme right on the toolbar .

It fixes the right click menu problem in 1.03, but then the stop/reload mod is broken (using stop/reload extension with adapted hills code instead) and can´t see the go button. An update would be nice.
