1) didn't get the purple background problem. (maybe you can change tab colour to default cause that works now)

2) what theme is that can we have screenshots cause no one else in the world has that, must be the mushrooms

3) its all in the settings redo them, i'm sure you missed one that does the following cause mine works like i ask it too.

4) new version of the tabextensions is out on source code but i don't see any bugs but the one mentioned about the highlight on new tabs but it comes and goes

As I have said before, the loading bar in the tabs is a fixed size, therefore if you have the loading bar showing in tabs the text can't be shown outside of the loading bar (Due to Firefox's Stack system). Also the person who said about the pruple backgrounds has fixed it with the same method shown below. The previous modded versions of TabExtensions didn't show the tab colour if it was changed by TabExtensions, so if you have ever used it before and tried changing the tab colour Firefox will load then with that colour until you select Default again.

Therefore:

Solutions

1) Right click on your tab select Change Tab Colour and press default, it should now look fine.

2) Turn off the option "Show Loading Bar in Tabs" option in the TabExtensions options menu

3) Check that you have not forced them to loadin the same window with TabExtensions.

I will post screenshots of the themes I have, none of which have errors (That's all the Safarifox based ones with the Safarifox version AND all other ones with the Standard version work)

i have a problem with this one..

although i have enabled all javascript things, in ff itself and also in tbb, some javascripts don't work for me....

when i deinstall TBE then it works fine....

any ideas?

Again, I'm not the actual author of TabExtensions I modified the layout code, please test errors with the original TabExtensions first. That way I can see if it's an error I have caused.

I do not understand the actual coding invloved with making TabExtensions work, what I so know is how XUL controls the layout (in the same way as HTML and CSS control the layout of a website).

Go to ur tabbrowser preferences then modules and unmark: Tabbrowser extension Popup controller module! Thats it!

thank you for your input, i truly do appreciate it, but it simply doesnt answer my question.

edit: it would also make it easier for people, like myself, who ave little programming experience.. i did try the tutorial, read it a few times and did not work correctly, so if theres anyone that would be up for the task many, including myself with be thankful.

acaeris thanx for all your help in making this mod for the latest version and teaching us how to mod it on our own. i tried modding it myself and i have managed to combine both non-safari and safari mod. unfortunately for non safari the close buttons are too different for them to work. so the built in and winstrip have to surfice

How can i get the tab-closebuttons like the one in your screenie?? i have only the "x" on the right side. I want to have the round ones on the left side...

It may be somewhere in your settings for TabExtensions as the screenshots are from a fresh install of Firefox 1.0.3, TabExtensions (SafariFox Mod) and SafariFox.
