i wanted to let localhost know that i am waiting and im antitciapating the next release

it works fine for me the only problem i've had is with using the orange skin, all the buttons weren't correct, and they looked all weird, but it's still a great update!!
The orange theme has all errors the buttons especially! 
first time i installed it it didn't work eitheri uninstalled, rebooted and tried it again and it did

The plugin installs great for me. iTunes starts up just fine. Playing the first song works just like everything did in iTunes 4.7. But with 4.8 iTunes crashes when switching to a new song. Uninstalling the plugin and the problem goes away.
Any ideas??
because it`s not iTunes 4.8 compatible?
*shrug* Was just askin'... saw some people say it worked for them and thought I'd give it a shot. After all thats what betas are about. Testing it out, reporting problems.
well I think I've got the 4.8 version to a stable state!
but the CkZip library seems to work poorly with my installer now. Maybe because the slightly larger zip file, I don't know.
Does any developer here know any good c++ library (static, not DLL) that can extract files from in memory zip files and load zip files from the web? a RAR library would be even better.
Still work...but I've got 2 problem.
1. When I used hide menu option, I can't use Alt+Down to get menu's back
2. Cannot change skin.

about skins, the old skins aren't working in 4.8.

Update: everything is working fine with QT 7 too bad QT 7 didn't introduce better sound quality so the Foobar2000 passthrough won't be needed.

i made a close to 1:1 skin for mplugin, but i based it off the dev template. do i need permision from localhost to release it?
I don't think so, I think that the reason he made the dev template in the first place was so that you could build your own skins up using it.
well i PMed him and he hasnt responded so im just going to go ahead and release it.

I've had Multi-Plugin for about 2 months now and have had one ongoing problem. When I set it to output a .txt file so I can get info put into Coolmon, I can't get it to read properly. The line is either blank or shows a capital "P". Any ideas? The command line I've tried is:

I solved my problem mentioned above by uninstalling 0.6, deleting the registry entry under the itunes folder for localhost, re-installing the plugin, and restarting iTunes. Workes beautifully now.

The thing is, I tried that last night, but I'm still getting the same thing. I'm currently using iTunes Sidekick to display the info, and that's working excellently, but I want to only have to use one plugin, not two. I've disabled the output file for Sidekick and moved the plugin folder so it isn't being used, but MultiPlugin still won't work.
