is it possible to display the amount of free space in percent as in the drive desklet ?
or do you advice ppl to use the drive desklet for such usage.

In the Recycle Bin Shortcut i have encountered a bug , This occurs only if u have different partitions ,
if i delete a file from my other partion then if i have said avedesk to use the sytem images then it will update the icons (show a full trash bin) but if i am using custom images then it will not update, anyway to fix this issue.
apart from that this a kick ass release. thx ave
is there a website or something that has a tutorial?
I am trying to use the objectdock weather docklet. In 1.1, I could resize the docklet without any problem. But now the default properties doesn't resize it. Is there anyother way to add weather WITHOUT USING SYSSTATS as I want the option of keeping my weather icon collection and switching them without much hassel ??

I was thinking a transparency one would be good... like be able to set the transparency to say something less than 255 when mouse is not over, then set it to something else on mouse over.

Ave, this is the error I get. I simply try to add a desklet, and this appears.
The box to add them doesn't even get to show, straight to this.
This is on XP sp2, latest updates. AMD64, nVidia 5200 gfx card.

There is a fade-in/fade out desklet that allows you to do just this, it's great. Search on the forum because I can't remember where I saw it.
This new AveDesk is excellent, as hoped/expected. All the desklets I used before are working perfectly too. I had to exclude AveDesk from Objectbar though because the control panel wasn't showing menu's and neither was OB.
Also, showcase is fab.
One thing though. Is there a way to toggle the desklets on/off? I haven't been able to find this option. Someone said it would be an option in this version.

When I set the desklets to "Normal Window" the label disappears when I click a desklet.
edit: Nevermind. Once I switched back to Explorer as my default shell, everything works fine.
Fonts, shadows and all the stuff works great for me great work AndreasV. i'm happy

everything works great ave, the fact that it replaces all desktop shortcuts is aswome. my system slowed down a little when i was into shortcut properties changing aliments and such. but not a big deal.
