My 3 New Opera Skins

I want your opinion, None of them are finished, is really a hard work (about 100 2x2 px images -420 total but dont need to edit all)

Get out of the tipical opera skins layout is very hard, too (i.e. rounded corners, metrics, fonts). This is the best customization I can reach at the moment.

Like I always say: Sorry, bad english

I will hear your good and bad comments...thanks

Great work so far, don´t really like the first one but the last two are great.

You mean from this Inquirer article?

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=9056

Well, they retracted what they said:

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=9078

...because there had been lots of ugly reactions:

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=9076

...and the Opera team has proof that there's no spyware:

cool, huh?

#22434

amazing, the rounded text fields look perfect, I'm waiting for the final release

see ya

#22435

Sorry, I went to sleep after put the post

Thank you everyone

I can send these skins to you all but there are some things you need to do with opera to look like them:

1- 3 or 4 changes in the ini files to make the compact menu, some fonts. I can give you the settings.

2- you have to use 90 % of the layout that you see in the graphics (personal bar, tabs, status at the bottom are not finished yet)

3-The rounded text fields not look 100% perfect yet and Opera use these files to draw all the text fields (i.e. the hotlist and even the fields in the webpages dont look well since it has several lines of text (i'm finding a solution). See this image

4- And of course, I edit the main files to look like these but the rest of the set (the other 300 images, icons) are for several skins. I mean: it's not a complete set made by me.

If you want to try, send me an email to: sfmonte1@fibertel.com.ar

thank you

Opera is *not* spyware and I have actually suggest that Opera Software ASA sue the Inquirer.

Since the Inquirer has posted a retractor, I doubt this will happen. But it seems that some people have not read the retractor yet and believe the Inquirer's crap.

Anything posted by the Inquirer really is not to be believed, they have posted some much crap over the years. I'm surprised anybody even reads them anymore.

I like them much Fer. I don't use Opera but if I would sure I'd use one of your skins.

Un saludo.

I'm trying to make 1 "universal set of files" that work in various layouts (tabs or personal bar at bottom, more flexible backgrounds) and then only change the set of buttons and backgrounds (like in previous versions of opera -5 or 6).

This will not result in a perfect emulation but even everyone could change the sets of buttons really fast, like in the image. Since I have no permission from the author to release these sets, everybody can make it with 3 or 4 steps

Tabs from PixOS byTereschenko Vladimir aka Volter

Backgrounds, text fields by me (I will upload them) based in my theme Leche
