1. i agree with the previous comment of some of the text is a bit too large. (headers)
2. thread folder icons look like crap :confused:

sorry to report, yes it does (at least you're consistent!)
also, i noticed that while the number of replies to a post is still there, the number of views is not. i find that helpful info. (see if anyone is even reading the damn thing, ya know?)
edit: just checked in ie and it's the same. my default is wxpsp2, firefox v1.0.
edit #2: i also agree with someone, several post back who said he'd like to see the name of the last poster to a thread, specifically on the 'new posts' page.

3) Report Bad Post icon looks a little messed up.
4) More color differentiation for elements near the bottom of the page: Between the Currently Active users, and the posting rules (darker
5) Clicking the Thread Tools automatically moves you down to the first post of the page (the page bookmark is set too low)
6) Different icons for the Quick Reply part-- the B, I, U, and Quote (most importantly the quote, probably)
7) More bulletins as events warrant. :-)

and if i may add...even if you did nothing else to this skin, it's still better as-is than the default simple skin. anything you would do from here would just be icing on the cake. so again, thx for the hard work!

just to let you know that the long search bar bug isn't there in Safari v1.2.4
I don't have it either in FireFox 1.0. I am thinking they probably changed the font dialog to something else (don't know exact key in the registry)
Only thing I can think is, its the theme you guys are using or something, I just sat down on my brothers pc >_< ack, and loaded it up, and I didn't see that problem, so I've tested it in Firefox (xp 1.0), Firefox (osx 1.0), safari (latest), and ie.
I'm using Tiger by Kol, so I switched to XP default (ack!) and its still there (the long bar bug that is).
I'm also running Firefox 1.0
It has to be either a font you guys are using or something that is not stock, I've tried it on my brothers pc, shak (aquaxp admin) has tested it and has not found the problem either :/
I swtiched the font from Lucidia Grande to Tahoma , I then tried arial (all on same theme - Tiger by Kol) ...still the same bug
Is it possible to change the little red document on posts to something nicer and more aqua.. like the Aqua rotating thing instead?

The red icon means most recent activity in the thread, the red is fine imo.

Just thoughts. Maybe it will be better to fill post's and ava's bg with the same light-achromatic color and separate them with thin gray line? Two solid plates together, filled with different colors looks unpretty for me... :slant:

As for the blue page background, its the same blue that osx uses, so we're keeping it

i don't have a long search bar.
I've been looking everywhere to remove the "mark forum read" and "oppen buddy list" (see this post http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showpost.ph...970&postcount=9) but couldn't find an option to disable it. I tested with my bro's PC that has XP and Firefox 1.0 too and the buttons are not there, there is something wrong with my PC, anyone knows how to remove them?
I'm on XP SP1, Firefox 1.0 with Hill's skin, HandelgotDlig font (already tried changing the font back to default but didn't help), compact menu extension

Edit: for those who have the long bars, try to clear your cache, I also had that problem yesterday when Tim just posted the skin, and after clearing my cache, I don't have them anymore
the long search bar is not that big of a deal to me, but clearing the cache didn't fix it.
