Aqua-Soft Skin (Round 2)

Since sephorz is my hero with helping me with ideas and stuff, I've started back up on the skin again, so everyone bug/thank the hell out of sephorz.

Anyway I did delete the old skin, it was my first round at coding a vb3 skin, learned some new things and now I started up again tonight on the new skin. I made it to where if the page is not skinned it still looks usable unlike the old skin.

So guys heres what I want from those who are willing to help.

Suggestions on laying things out, like say the user info, who uses it, should it go should it stay, should it be on the right on the left on the top anywhere, stuff like that.

Input Input Input. Does something look bloated? Tell me what and some thoughts on cleaning it out.

I'm not asking anyone to skin or design anything, but I'm asking for ideas, which I know you guys have.

Anyway be nice in this thread keep it clean so I can follow up some problems you guys are finding, hopefully it will go live by HO HO HO.

Get rid of the blue, way too much god damn blue.. Maybe change the icons, they look kinda blurry. Everything concerning the layout, looks ok too me. As long as I can still minimze the **** I don't look at

awesome Tim, I have a problem though. I can see all the icons if I use IE, but I can't see icons for "search, newpost, mark forum read and oppen buddy" if I use firefox :/ :/

any suggestion?

Go get the Lucida Grande font. That should fix the font issue (I think).

EDIT: What font is that? That's not the right font, but it's pretty cool anyway! :cool:

by the way the font is the famous HandelGotDLig :P

Hope that Tim will fix that issue, I'm already in love with that skin

First off, how did you manage to get the buddy list thing up there, I can't find any option in the UserCP and I added a few people to my buddy list :/ still not seeing it.

It really is looking good Tim, nice and easy on the eyes. No bug's spotted at all in WinXP SP2 w/ Firefox 1.0 ^^

OK, here's my bit.

The "home" link in the top left takes you back out of the board to the A-S homepage, can you change that to go to the board index?

The new posts page has no divisions between rows of results, this is a bit distracting.

The calendar looks really dodgy (who cares?!)

Well the home icon is meant to goto the homepage, if you must get back to the board index, just click the link right below the home icon, and wala!

The search results I'm currently working on, the alternating code isn't working quite right . But will be fixed.

The calendar, ack who cares is right lol, that I'll get to last.

The blue background stays godsdammit! That is Aqua Blue (<-- note the caps!) and it what OS X is supposed to have.

Also, having a border around the postbit might be an idea, at the moment all these replies aren't in a container and the grey headers seem to be floating.
