Just want to second what was said by rulesofroad for testing purposes
however when i clicked the sticky the title bar snapped right back so it wasnt much of a problem
just confirming it
one more thing, when the computer restarts, I cannot edit the text i had in the sticky until i close the widget and restart the widget again. Hope this helps!
ok, well I thought I'd update you guys:
- Calculator widget is fixed. Ghostwalker is adding the flip mode, and then it'll be released
- Translator widget has nice context menus. Dunno if Ghostwalker is adding anything else, but quite frankly, I think its ready...

BTW: That clock is my own one, where I forgot to make the image update in the evening ![]()
Ooh, purdy. What are the languages that the translator widget does? And is that clock done?
Who are you anyway? ![]()
Can't wait to get my hand on those widgets.
--Unit Converter widget..... drool.
Saladin is right Im just going to add the close button to Translator widget and then its ready, will have the dropdown menu for the calculator done tonight sometime expect both soon ("Saladin is my partner in crime and he knows his stuff")
Great to hear guys, keep em rollin!

So you guys are fighting against Balian? (lol)
Here is the clock. Based on the Konfabulator WorldClock Pro by my good friend Ricky.
And it DOES switch faces now from 9pm to midnight...
Unit converter widget is next up, I've already done most of it ![]()
Is there a reason why the clock you just posted doesnt show up as a widget icon? and instead is just the images, scrpits etc. I can open the widge just find, but normally everything isn't visible like that to the end user and its just displayed as a konfab widget.
Hooray! Another fantastic widget. I love you guys ![]()
Also, is it possible to have a close button-less version of the widgets too?

run "clock"
Right, i know this, I'm just saying normally widgets don't let the user see all the files associated with it, so I was just wondering if this was done on purpose.
hmm, you're right. maybe it just runs differently or something? that's a good question, i'd like to know the answer as well now.
good widget nonetheless, however.
In the configs for the cities, what does the number right after the city represent. For instance, in ["Darwin, Northern Territory", "570", "12.47", "S", "130.83", "E", ""], what does the "570" represent? I am hoping to add a few cities in New Zealand: auckland and christchurch. So if anyone can help me, it would be appreciated.
Sorry guys in-laws showed up last night so I didnt get to finish but I will

Is there something wrong with the close button? I have since added a preference so the close button stays on when the widget loses focus so when people make screen shots all the widgets can display the close button at the same time(Ive seen mac screens that way) I guess I could add an option to turn it off completely. And Saladin you mind if I make a backside for the clock that looks like this......

No the close button work perfectly, but it annoys me that it pops up whenever I change something in the sticky, and it's pretty useless to me considering I can just right click and close it.
I just thought you guys wanted it to mimic tiger, I will add an option to not use it if you like.
I will be uploading translate widget to devart in a few minutes also.
I'm loving it! Thanks!
Translate widget looks fantastic, i use translate mini a lot, but this is much more pleasant to look at!
Some notes though on the features. The real dashboardwidgets swirly arrow button does not instantiate the translation, what is does is switches the 'from' and the 'to' languages so you can easily switch when translating (in translate mini you had the arrows in both directions for this). Switching from and to is quite tideous now, so this feature would be great. As for the instantiation of the translations, the dasboard widget translates 'as you type', this is rather hard to do in a konfab widget wich connects to babelfish or some other service, instaid maybe the translate could be insatiated as you hit enter in the translate text field?
as for the close button issue, this is how it goes on mac:
in normal dashboard mode there are no close buttons on the widgets
in dashboard alteration mode, you have the dashboard bar for adding new widgets and all widgets have close buttons on them. This enables easy adding an removing of widgets in this mode.
Just so you now.
wow. you guys make me want to make heterosexual babies with you. lmao. thank you!
one thing with the translate widget, the fonts dont show up for stuff like chinese, japanese, etc. any chance of including the fonts that you are using so that we can see them as something other than [][][][][][]? thanks!
looking forward to weather and dashboard datebook widgets! you guys kick so much ass ![]()
also, any chance of making it with fonts that are different than arial and courier new and such? thanks again for the effort!
