it's all perfect except for two main things:
1) marker felt thin isn't working. to get the one working with this widget, google search "marker felt thin" (with the spaces) and it should be the first link there
2) the X button at the top left needs work. its a little choppy.
other than that, it's nearly perfect!

one question, is it possible to open multiple stickies? or only one at a time?
thats what spawning is and I included the default font with the zip MarkerFeltTip-Plain
The stickies didn't use the default font when I installed the included one.
yeah thats what i meant. the included font isnt used. you have to download that one for it to work

i would suggest:
1) making the shadow more natural, for example on the right side and bottom, there is a definite "ruler edge" to it.
2) able to create titles for the postit (more than todo, etc), or to toggle it being on at all.
3) toggle image font
4) make a return under the notes title. the text appears too close to the top (like right under it, it would look better with one more return space above it.
that's all i can come up with for now.
font doesn't work. If we have to download it, could you give a link? if not, i'll just edit it to work.
ok sorry about that on the font I used "MarkerFeltThin-Plain " in the kon file and the actual font is called "MarkerFeltThin-Plain Regular" thats probably why its not loading. I will upload the corrected widget with better close button graphics later today. If you know how to edit a kon file just find all instances of "MarkerFeltThin-Plain " and replace with "MarkerFeltThin-Plain Regular" and it should work.
Sorry guys this didnt work either tried it on my system then it wouldnt display the font for me only one that does is the way its coded now.Are you sure you installed the font right? sometimes just copy and pasteing to the font folder is not enough.

I have a question about the dashboard calculator, does it flip also to show the back with preferences or do you just see the front and if so where is the flip symbol located?
i can't think of any possible preferences for a calculator widget to have, so i'm guessing there is no flip button
well this one will have different color skins than the regular orange. Just thought if the calculator flipped I would put that option there also and Kalculator(k widget) has different options in the prefs,didnt know if I could display those also.we will leave it without a flip.

if u made your own, awsome, but i actally made a skin for kalculator, and the creator of it liked it so much he is includeing the skin with its next release.

The only thing I need to fix is when you mousedown on the add,subtract, etc. the active state needs to change I was thinking about emailing the author to help me with some code but not sure how he felt about aqua emulation.

Well this is what I was going for and the hardest part is yet to come so I leave it up to all of you should I finish or give it up?
I like the orange one, this the best one I think that you should release it. ;-)
You should not give it up, this way it will fit better with the rest of the dashboard cloned widgets as it will have a close button, and not just be a skin.

I'd definatley to encourage you to keep on the project.
Please don't include .PSD images in your widget releases, because they really do beef up the file size, explaining the Dashboard Stickies' file size of over 1MB.
Other than that, I'm lovin it ("huh? lawyers at the door??"), and can't wait for the rest of them to come out
yeah i definatly agree with wilmegape about everything fitting together, plus the skins look hoooot
I will do my best to complete it and as far as the size of the stickies Im looking into a different way to change stickie colors with using only one image that will also reduce it alot.

defently dont kill the project, more is always better. i like your color varaition, and the autor is very cool, i worked with him a little bit on what i did.
as for the release of it, i have no idea 
Ive updated the stickies on devart new close button graphics (thanks wilmegape) and the widget size is down to 470 kbs.
