minimize the itunes by click on the itunes in the toolbar, it is important, not by click the minimize button in itunes, if so, u can not get the minimized itunes in toolbar.

go to the last tab of options and unselect minimize to tray

then enable it from right clicking on task bar > toolbars > iTunes

I was doing everything that was suggested to no avail. I had it working right and proper on my laptop at work, but my pc at home just didn't want to work properly.

I forgot about it for a few days, then today, after I installed a few of Bz's newer WB skins, I went to minimize iTunes and it suddenly minimized to the taskbar player - to my surprise.

So I don't know why it wasn't working properly in the first place. As I said before, yes, minimize to tray was disabled every time, toolbar selection was set to iTunes, but it didn't work. Now it does. I guess the ornery fella finially decided to behave.

If anybody is still having problems with the iTunes toolbar not being an option here is how to fix it.

Uninstall Itunes

delete the Apple from HKEY LOCAL MACHINE in the registry.

reinstall Itunes

i know this may be extreme but it worked for me
