So does this mean that if we install the 4.7 version of iTunes that we'll no longer be able to use any of the mods for iTunes or the iTunes skinner???

That's exactly what it means, until they are hopefully updated.
this isnt a huge prooblem, but i cant get the taskbar player no matter what i do. iv tried literaly everything. and this seems to be something very usefull to me to, and yes, the itunes toolbar is checked. some one please help me!

I have no taskbar player, as well...
i tried on all my computers that have never had an aqua emulation app on them, and they had the task bar player. so there is something im thinking in the registry thats screwing up somewhere. i will search.
Hmmm...It works for me. It looks crappy though...
mini mode doesn't stay always on top... i've tried turning it off and on again, restarting itunes etc... it just doesn't :-(
Same for me.. no taskbar player even though it's checked. The Windows Media taskbar player works fine.

Did you uncheck, and then minimize iTunes entirely? (not just minimode) The taskbar controller will only show up when iTunes has been minimized to the... taskbar controller.
Or do you actually have something wrong with your system...
has anyone noticed the new folders in your iTunes folder.

i have a feeling that if someone get's their hands on the QTR (Itunes resource files) that are in these folders, skinning may be made a whole lot easier..
yes, i noticed this to, and the miniplayer dll doesnt need anything else then ResHack to modify images. apple is getting lazy lol

the miniplayer is actually the Taskbar player..
and the QTR files, are basically the files that were encoded in the iTunes.exe file, in previous versions. we still need a way to get the graphics out and back into them.

Oh yeah, I'm off-topic when I also mentioned that I couldn't wait for the multi-plugin for iTunes 4.7. ¬_¬

Okay I realise it's really not my place to question the decisions of the mightly mods but come on Pe8er... I think your off the mark with that one. I found nothing in those comments that was not directly related to iTunes 4.7.. but then again I might not have an eye for the intricacies.

, seems as stable as before and they still havn't fixed the annoying 100% CPU usage for a few secs after closing the program. Other than that taskbar player is a dissapointment.
anyone knows if/when localhost will update Mplugin for 4.7? i installed 4.7 but reverted to 4.6 till Mplugin is updated. Call me a looks-***** or whatever, but i like my iTunes to go to mini-mode with one click :slant:

hey guys i've not been here for a while, the new boards never sent me the password until now :slant:
anyway, i hope i'll release the new fonts & menu removing mods along with a new installer for Multi-Plugin in a couple of days.
for now, here is what you need to do to fix the issue with Multi-Plugin:
1) go to "C:/Documents and Settings/%USERNAME%/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins".
2) you will see a file called MPlugin.dll. Now create a directory called "MPlugin".
3) move MPlugin.dll to the folder you have just created.
btw, about all those new files, the .qtr files are still PE files with the resources packed inside them...not raw resource files :/ so i'm not quite sure if it will help the skinning...i'll check all that by the weekend
