new stuff: show duplicate songs, built-in minimize to tray and mini-mode on top, CD diagnostics (worthless, imo), iPod tab in prefs (i don't have an ipod, so i don't know what it does), and photo sync support for NEW PHOTO IPOD! that's all i can think of.

note: still works with AveTunes, but not mplugin .52

Yea, just read that (thanks for posting it), so to all you ipod owners, they have a new app called iphoto for the ipod (I know iphoto isn't new, I mean new for ipod) so go to apple.com right now!!!

I feel your pain man. I got a 4g not too long ago myself. Seems like everytime I buy something from apple they come out with a better version two months later. I guess I need to research more next time and be smart like Juno.

You can probably return it for a 10% restocking fee. That's what I'm doing to get my iPod Photo.

P.S. They don't have it in stock at retail stores now, but I called the closest one to me and said they are getting 'em this week...

I'm actually glad they released the photopod for a different reason... I kinda want an iPod that's just a music player - not a do-everythinger. Maybe this'll make the vanillapods cheaper!

^^^ What he said. As for iPods, I only have a 10Gb 2G iPod that I bought off eBay, but I REALLY wish I had a 3G or 4G iPod. I wonder if I could trade it in anywhere for a newer one...
