I've just figured it out. It's not the OS appearance, it's the default font in Firefox. If you have your Sans font set as Times New Roman, and Sans is your default Proportional font, you'll have the sidebars in Times New Roman. But no idea how to override this in the theme though.
Yes that is it... but there must be a way to control this setting in the theme -- all of hills-roppongi's themes work fine for me in this regard. (http://beverlyhills.web.infoseek.co.jp/safarifox/tips.html)
I'll try to fix it, but this setting doesn't seem to be one of the obvious things. BTW, a small update with fixed Bookmark Managers arrows is available, please redownload if you really need the arrows in the Bookmark Manager (currently European mirror only, I hope Wookietv updates the mirror soon).

that has something to do with the font size in your f.f. options. try making them smaller, i'm pretty sure when you see the large boxes, it's because they're too big. if not, do the opposite.

i'm guessing that you're using flyakitesp2 (or sp1). in flyakite, uninstall the 'mac shell dialog' reg hack. if you're not using flyakite, sorry, can't help ya. good luck!

Nice...this is the first theme i have downloaded but i can't seem to install it. I drag and drop the pinstripe.jar file in the theme window but it won't seem to drop and remains on my desktop. Any suggestions?

Hehe, interesting, a problem I experience with Firefox 1.0.1+ is the title attribute of HTML tags does not show tooltip on web pages.
ie. text, suppose to show a tooltip when mouse is over it, but this theme somehow doesn't do that =P

I'm having the same problem with the progress bar in the status bar.
Also, I find that ForecastFox's tooltips with details about weather conditions won't work. They do work in the FireFox default theme.
Finally, I just noticed today that the indicator arrow that appears in the menubar to indicate that updates are available for FireFox and extensions does not show up in Pinstripe.
Just some small issues, none of which stops me from using this great theme. Thanks.

This theme looks great! Except I get the bug where progress bar doesn't animate, and also the font in the bookmarks sidebar is messed up. I'm usingIt would be great if someone could update this theme.

I also notice on dialogue boxes, the font is Times New Roman and large. What's the deal with that?
(aka, if you have two tabs open, and you have the setting to warn you before closing a window with two tabs, that warning dialogue is in Times New Roman)
Allrite... don't bite me but I'm JUST ANOTHER user of this theme, and JUST ANOTHER person in love with this them head-over-heals....
Also.. I'm JUST ANOTHER one to experience the too-large font in sidebar/dialog boxes and No-ToolTips bug....
and I'll be happy just to get even ToolTip bug solved..
