I have a slight problem

yeah, as stated on the first thread, that's a problem regarding the hack used to be able to use pngs in pandion (cuz of ie engine.) to fix that, you'll have to play around with your window size, in this case, make it smaller.

hmmm i ve been using pandion (with ICQ) for some time now and i realised that even after signing off, my status still remains online to others.. does this happen to anyone else?

and errr just to get it straight.. do ONLY jabber-to-jabber avatars work? also tryin to use avatars in msn :confused:

Yep I've had that issue aswell.. even if you sign off you seem to be online to other users...

And so far only jabber-to-jabber avatars work.

Yea, I think the contact list should have separated contacts and maybe even userpics (to complete the Adium look) and the transparency stuff. I like it a lot so far, cept I messed up my main.css thing now, I've gotta fix that. :confused:

About the contact list, I agree. It should have separated contacts. Nico, you can have userpics using detailed mode (again, just for jabber.) So I'll get working on that, but come on, it's just html, anyone here can do that. Help me out guys.

The text area part is already being worked on by good ol' irey.

Well this is working very nicely! Does anyone know which *.js contains the menu information for the chat window? I have it disabled in the contact window, but no luck in the chat window.

but, as always, i've faced a pair of problems while setuping that all to work correctly:

1) pandion disappears when i try to get it back on desktop with clicking on the tray icon;

2) when i select the emotion icons the don't change, however, the new iconpacks seem to install okay;

3) i'm using pandion.be server but still can't connect to msn network: it says 'disconnected' in the transports dialog window - why is that so? everything had been setupped 100% correctly!

4) i have absolutely no idea on adding my local's jabber server accounts in contacts: pandion just doesn't find 'em - how to make it do like i want?

just can't wait for the answers, program & modification are so extremely awesome, but in the state i have 'em both they are absolutely useless !

1) Well, I think this is a application-side issue. It works the same for me. Whenever I want to bring the application to the topmost position on my desktop, I have to double click the taskbar icon.

2) Again, a program-side thing. For your downloaded emoticons to work, you have to manually copy the downloaded folder (which will be in "C:Documents and Settingsyour nameApplication DataPandionEmoticons") and copy all the contents from that folder to the emoticons folder of the protocol you want to use those emoticons with. Let's say, for example, I've just downloaded iChat emoticons, and want to use them in my AIM conversations, I'd go to C:Documents and SettingsDavidApplication DataPandionEmoticonsiChat and copy all the contents of that folder to: C:Documents and SettingsDavidApplication DataPandionEmoticonsAIM, restart Pandion, and that's that. Keep in mind that folder names might vary in your computer and whatnot.

3) A lot of people have problems connecting to some servers via transports. I'd suggest not using pandion.be, as it hasn't worked properly in my experience. I myself use jabber.org.uk, but you can find a detailed server list here.

4) To add a transport, select "Actions->Add contact" from the application menu. Next, select the option that says "Jabber" or something like that. Next, input the entire username, which includes the server the person is using. For example, if you wanted to add me, you'd type [holden]@jabber.org.uk

well, i didn't explain correctly, heh. the thing is some applications due to some traits of other programs ron as they weren't meant to. i wanted to say that when i wish to bring the main window on the desktop and double-ckink on the tray icon, the window 'flies' out from the desktop, and there is absolutely no chance to get it back into visible area. i think that might be caused by y'z shadow, looks like a program-side thing anyway.

hey, thanks for the answer - i thought that is only mine version's bug of my stupidness. anyway figured out that by myself 45 mins ago (even have ported Riceballs emoicons by Lanham).

but any chance to add these to the selection field? get only 5-6 there (pandion.be, amessage.de and so on).

umm, yeah, but it finds nothing whatever i put in the fields! only 'david' bring some results, but no [holden]@xxx.co.uk among them!

To add someone on jabber, the item is "Adium (XMPP)" To choose a different server when signing up, just type it in. Don't select it from the list.
