Note: Eclipse message style contains several backgrounds in "Pandionimagesmisc" folder, to use them open up the chat-messages.css file located in "Pandionsrccss" folder with notepad and edit the BODY {} field, replacing the "camo.png" part with the name of the background file you want to use.

Ok, a few things have changed since the last update. The Rar file now contains my entire Pandion folder, since almost everything in it has been modded or tweeked. I suggest extracting the Rar to your Pandion folder and replacing everything within it, but that, of course, is your perrogative.

First thing, you need to enable compact view. go to Tools->View and select compact. If you want to have detailed view, you'll have to mod the background file for the mail window (Pandionimagesmisclist_background.gif) and the main.css file (Pandionsrccss.)

Another important note, since I had to "patch" some css files in order to use pngs, the images are not stretchable, and so, if you make a window big enough, the images will not be aligned with the text. You can mod that yourself by changing the images (located in Pandionimagesmisc) and modding chat-messages.css. This is if you want to have bigger windows opened at all times. However, if you're like me and the provided window size suffices, then leave it as is.

If you want to change the background used in the message windows, the file is called background.jpg, located at Pandionimagesmisc, replace it with whichever you like. If you want to use another type of image (gif, png, etc.) you will have to mod chat-messages.css and change the background-image field in body{}.

This does look really nice. I installed it, but where do I find "transports" so I can use AIM and other IM networks withit ??

Good work with the skin, and hopefully someone can help me with this.

Open up Pandion and go to Tools-> Transports, there you will see a list of the transports your server supports. Look here for a list of servers you can use and which transports they support.

But I have one question. I can't see other peoples avatars, and they can't see mine, although, I have an avatar specified. This is maybe a feature in the program, and part of the skin, but I thought you might know it.

Nice mod.

It's been about ten minutes since I started connecting to a server... I've tried like, six of them. Is this normal? The documentation on the Pandion website is somewhat limited.

I tried this app last night and had no issues with logging onto MSN. But right now I can't get in - the transport thingy just sits there and tries to connect to the server.

I like this app. The looks are very nice.

In response to the poster above: In the main Pandion window select "Tools" and then "Transports" it will display a window for you to look at

I got MSN working. Since i'm in Denmark I used jabber.dk - and that worked well. Try to find a site in your neighborhood. I guess the same goes for all the other protocols !?

I am just starting to use this thing I believe this is what you need to do:

Goto:http://www.jabber.org/user/publicservers.php

and find the public server with all the messenger service enabled (aol.yahoo.msn)

write down the server name.

Run Podium and sign in a new account, it will take to you a dialog box and you type the server name of your choice ( I have to try a couple servers before it get me connected to one of them...I prefer all the US ones since I live in US)

After you signed in, go to tools...transport and select whatever messenger service you want (aol, yahoo ect ect)..enter your user name and pswrd.

Yep, just found that out and did that mysef actually. Now, I am registered on a server with Aim transport. I added the transport and now it just says it is Offline. How do I make the transport online and add all my contacts from aim?

In the add transport wizard, what do I put for the Adress field?

In the address please type your screen name. And for aim, leave the "nickname" field blank.

Thanks for the instructions, guys. Anyone know how to import my AIM contact list, though? It's supposed to do it automatically, but for some reason it won't. Any thoughts?
