What a piece of crap. Yet another "pretty" expensive machine by apple, all in one piece. I want a god damn computer that I can hook up to my monitor with a KVM switch and press a button to switch from Mac to PC. Why cant they give us a two piece computer?
get a g5 & a display nd joor all set
no complaints about price in the US, juno. 1,300 bucks for the base model, given its specs, is quite reasonable and probably a better deal than a lot of off-the shelf mid-range PCs. for running panther, those specs are fantastic, looking at a very very smooth machine. though it seems like you'll need a pair of decent speakers or hook up to the stereo, like me, who lives in a freakin box. but man, that thing is hot. and at 17" / 20"... wow.
Yeah...I guess that is a good point, the thing is, I dont want to pay for a monitor because I have one already. The LCD probably makes up alot of the cost, maybe even $500 of it, if its really good quality (probably is $500 for the 20 inch one)
Hmm, I'm kinda disappointed. The front looks too eMacish. It will probably grow on me, like the G5 Tower.

i like the old g4 design though. for me it isn't that good. the margins of the monitor is too thinck. i was expecting this.

just the huge bottom frame bothers be a bit. but not enough to kill the fact that it's just an lcd screen with a computer inside!!!! oh slot loading drive doesn't make me happy either.
but damn it's sexy. shame it's got a measly FX5200u which sucks arse.
yea. but i think the old one is the best. the g4. never saw anything more beautiful than that.
even though my previous picture was butt - ugly, , i really thought that's the actuall design. i didn't know that it was from photoshop edit.
@ steel - Since the dawn of time, anything that has yet to be released, and there is not official annoucement, assume all pictures that you see to be fake. Heck, I even presumed the new iPod with Steve Jobs on the cover of a magazine was fake. This is true, especially with Apple. Tons of people want to prove that their design capabilities can surpass Apples'.
I think the only leaked picture that turned out to be real where the newest G5 LCD Cinema Displays, and those were only leaked a day before the annoucement.
my gosh! I think it's butt ugly and freakin' bulky. that big bottom border is a no go. but oh well, it's a question of taste o' course...
I agree, the bottom border is too thick. I prefer the thin borders of the Apple Cinema Displays over this, but that 2" is oh-so-sexy! Also the white frame with an aluminium hinge? That's a no-no!
