Aqua-Soft ForumsObject Dock Plus Is Like Drag Thing
This is going to be so cool. Even the color on the tabs are the same as dragthing
Goes on sale tomorrow. This is EXACTLY what I've wanted for about a year now. Only Windows program to come close was WorkShelf, which is ugly and not as functional.
i agree with attila's comments.
It looks cool! I hope they add hardware acceleration though.
yeah, hardware acc is something i've been wanting for OD, badly. lol

That's only one of the features this has. Did you just see that one feature and blank out the rest?

Im talking about the flyout menus.
So if you get orbit you get all the features of drag thing as well as fly out menus, ohhhhhhhhh I didn't know that. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I'm just saying that the flyout menu's are very like the Orbit idea,
Because people like you see a program and they see one feature and zoom in on that feature and are like ohhhhh if you get "insert program that only has that feature" then you won't need this program. Like you saying a person could have had this program for ages if they got Orbits That's too quickly dismissing all the other things in a program. What if a person wants all the OTHER features in the program. Which I have yet to see a a decent program like it yet. And I have tried a bunch of tabbed launchers. There hasn't been a program that has come as close to dragthing like this on windows before.
And P.S. it's not just this program which things like this happen. =p

For a start Jeff is parading this feature as one of the main, original, unique features of OD+, which frankly it isn't.
If you'd have listened to a word I've said you would realise that Im not saying Orbit is the same as OD+, but this feature is very similar.
Features make up a program, of course I 'zoom in on them'. Back to Dashboard and Konfab, there's one feature that makes them very similar, would you ignore that and say: "Woah something totally uber unique from all-innovating Apple".
He is? I need to see where he is doing that.
But how can I misinterpret "This has been out for ages. It's called Orbit."? Which makes it sound all inclusive like the whole program. You didnt say, "The flyout feature in this has been a major part of Orbit for ages." Which would have been much clearer. And please don't tell me I have to read between the lines of what yo u said. That would be some MAJOR reading between the lines.

i cant seem to use the quote feature but

alilm: how is it that you can comment on a feature noone has seen or knows anything about other than the word "flyout menu" and maybe a screenshot and say that the idea was taken from elsewhere! ridiculous. see my comments in the v1.02 thread
on a happier note, ObjectDock Plus is now available! hope all of those interested in getting it are pleased, i'm very excited you all can finally get a shot to try it
seriously, before i pay 20 bucks i would like to test it out. since this is a beta and u want me to pay for it without me having a clue if this tool is cool, no, extremly sadly.

the tab bar in the image below.. onmouseover does it animate like a dock or is it static?

I was hoping the tabbed dock would animate, but it does not. It is static.
