Just a quick poll so I know how far out I shold go on the skin. Basically what I mean for lite skin is one like the old skin but maybe a little less images, and for a well imaged skin I mean a pretty decent skin. Not lots but a decent ammount of images so it would prob not be that 56k friendly.

Why can't there be both? Just take the pretty skin and strip out some images.
I still like using a Lite skin when the option is given (even though I have broadband now), because I honestly get bored of all the pretty graphics in a week, and I want the forum to load quickly.

Using broadband, with pretty graphics it opens quickly for me...
If both cant be had, i would say, try to strike a blance between them, pretty lo-fi graphics... how does that sound?
BTW, i voted for pretty graphics, i honestly like them.
Timmie, I say half-pretty, half-lite.
Of course, there is a number of tricks that you can use to make the skin a pretty skin. Don´t forget them

I'd say do what devArt has done... they've got the graphical and the lite version... some people prefer to have a fast loading minimal site than a graphic intensive. Besides with users having the option of what interface they'd use i'm sure it'd be a good idea?

if you consider the current skin to be 'pretty' then i'm for pretty, but options are always the best, at least you'll keep the default ipb skin as an option for dialup users i hope.

Updated: I think for right now the best and easiest way to get a skin on aqua-soft rather than the default IPB one would be for me to update our old skin with some tweaks.
Then later if someone would like to design a skin I'll make it from there if people like it. But nothing was wrong with our old skin. Just needs a few tweaks here and there and some more color.
