For those experiencing bugs, make sure the PNG is 128*128. (Just a suggestion)

Actually, English is based on germanic not latin.

ENGLISH is based on both languages! So we're both right, but, by virtue of being from the U.S, I'm more right :D:D . Ok, just kidding. I hope no one takes offense at that.

I have had no trouble converting a PNG to an ico.

Just thought I'd add that.

Anyway, PNGs aren't working here, the icon is created but it doesn't seem to know where the lines of the image ends and so the image appears strippy and misaligned.

..Sure that you can add these skins! :D

Only 2 things:

1.i've made all of them without shadow (real windows Xp style);

2.these skins are not complete like others (there are only the necessary images for this application!)

Screenshot of Resulting .ico, admittedly shown at a lower size but it's even harder to work out at 128x128.

Only 128 * 128 is supported for now, but I'll add some more formats in the future, when I have some more time.

I get the same icon file whether I use it at 128x128 or 256x256, all the other icons I have are 128 and I still get that problem.

Ave: what I've been looking for for a very long time is any application that will let me give it a single 128x128 PNG, and will convert it to a multi-size XP icon.

Better yet would be command line support, so I could batch it.

You'd think that this would be unnecessary feature, but it really isn't - windows dosen't scale ICOs well, so if I have my icons set to 48x48, and use a 128x128 icon, it ends up looking quite a bit like poop.

And of course, I can scale everything in an image editor and then use @icon sushi to put them back together into a multi-size icon, but since I have hundreds of icons for modding, that's kind of impossible... wah.

nothing's worse than getting a new iconset and seeing it pixelated because the author only included a 32x32 size and a 128x128 size. Since i use 48x48 icons, windows scales the nearest size, the 32x32, and that looks even worse than a downscaled image.
