Little tool

Description

I needed a little tool for myself that would convert ICO to PNG and vice versa. I thought I might share it with you.

Only 128 * 128 is supported for now, but I'll add some more formats in the future, when I have some more time.

Screenshots

This is the app.

Drop an ICO file onto the ICO pane (the left one). PNG goes onto the right pane.

Drag the image from the PNG pane (the right one) to explorer to create a PNG file out of the ICO file.

Lou promised an icon for this little app, but the pepsi-lover is "busy" with fighting turtles or something. Anyone, feel free to come with a nice icon Lou made the icon. Kudos to Louie!

The PNGs are read in by GDI+, the ICO stuff is plain ol' GDI, the creation of the ICO file is done by copying the raw bits :naughty:

Yeah , the icon related functions in GDI+ suck bad. GDI+ doesn't preserve alpha of .ico format. Nice idea copying raw bits.
