Ah yes, skinning. I have major plans when it comes to skinning. First I plan on releasing it, but after that im gonna make a skin making app. Skins will be all one file. You just double click on the file to install the skin. It will then ask you if you would like to apply the installed skin now, then depending on your choice load iCal.
Also, so elppA doesnt kill me, im gonna make a skin as default (very ugly), and make a panther skin for download. Panther will actually be built in to it, so to enable panther all you will need is a small file. Skin files will be much larger then this small 1-2 kb file.

Are you planning to have alarm features on this? So that an alarm goes off when you set it? iPod's have an alarm feature on them, it would be nice if you could have one configurable in this. Also, a to-do list would be nice that would also sync with the iPod. I am not sure how to do this, any mac users here? Where do to-do list files go?
The iPod calendar is very easy to use and modify since it is recognized as a removable drive. The only thing you have to do is set it so you can choose the drive and folder to export contacts to.

I can understand some peoples dissapointment, because ive started projects before, but not finished. The reason is, I usually hit a dead end. I dont think I will hit a dead end in this application, because I have the masters to help me, and I am WAYY better at coding since before I took a break from A-S. This program is all very very possible, and theres no reason for me to hit a dead end on this one. Dont worry about it people. I will be finishing this program! O yea, and if for some reason I cant finish (I die, or something huge comes up), then I will give the source to others and they can finish it for me.

EDIT: O yea, for an update, working on drawing appointments is progressing nicely. I think in a week-to-a-week and a half we should see 100% appointment drawn functionality. Shortly after that I will be working on the drawer, so that appointments can be edited.
Well, the reason that I post message like that is you seems like you post screenshot saying you almost finished project or it's almost done and stuff like that.
and also I don't want to insult anyone, I just want to let them know how it's frustrating
to let user to wait like more than a month after saying it's almost finished and showing
savvy screenshot, and after all it's unfinished....
Personally, I'm really careless whether it's fiinished ore unfinished.
But as soon as I saw his i.d it reminded me something and I searched through search
engine, word, "brush", and read post, it seemed like samething....
I know we must respect developer and so on blah blah blah........
but they should respect the users too....
After all, what is the point of showing their unfinished project screenshot?
They want to get excited as same as users's expectation.....
If there are no users to use there are no developer...
If there are no develpers there would be no users?

If I had worked for hours and hours on a project for the community that I was proud of I would be driven crazy trying to keep quiet!

not a whole lot of 'visible' action lately on my program, but to let you all know, ive gotten quite a good chunk of coding done on the actual appointment drawing code. I was stuck for 3 days on some stupid error, and finally I figured out what I was doing wrong. Its progressing quite nice. Quite nice indeed. When I get the appointments more solved out, then I will post some more eye-candy (or iCandy :S)
