Link fixed today. Sorry guys, Windows made my FTP corrupted... I've just reinstalled, and it works fine now.
New version uploaded some times ago, multiples folders can be changed at once ; I've also remade the installer. Can't update the first post because I've lost my account in the last forum reorganization, never can recover it...

I have a green label only for Windows folder - it make a mac folder into standart windows one. Could you suggest a solution to me? Latest iColorFolder.
Would it be possible to make it work with all icons by just putting a color overlay on them?
It would be quite hard. Basically, I suppose I could use a system to change automatically the hue of an original folder, but it wouldn't render very nice in most of the case. Creating a set of colored folders for iCF is really easy, just a cursorbar to play with in Photoshop/PSP, but you really have to adjust the settings yourself to get a correct rendering. No one can automatize the artistic sens of a human...
And btw, iCF has now it own webpage, http://icolorfolder.sourceforge.net.

why is it that when one wants to change the icon of a file or folder to one's customized icon icolorfolder crashes unexpectedley?
Hmm, this is a pretty old program. I think there are newer ones out there that you can use--have you tried searching for those?

This is considered "old" only because it was fashioned perfectly at the start and subsequent releases offered extras but appears is since been put on the back burner, maybe indefintely, who knows, "BUT" i absolutely refuse to install or reinstall my systems without it. It's that fantastic & makes immediate work of changing your icons "individually" with a single mouse click.
Some later versions didn't appeal to me as well as the early releases and you might experience some issue depending on which download you took on. LoL
