Version 5.1 was made to work with the latest Windows updates as of APRIL 8th.
I'm currently working on 6.0 though which will have all new files. You can check development progress at the website:

Kann man dieses Sytsempack auch mit Batchmod an meine
deutschen Dateien (Sprache) anpassen ?
Is it possible to use this systempack with "batchmod" and
use the german systemfiles (langugae) ?
Thanks, Danke !

Yes indeed as yesterday MS had a bunch of security patches, as I always keep up-to-date and for me these were picked up:
1. Cumulative Security Update for OE (KB 823353-1.9MB)
2. Security Update for WinXP (KB 840315-306 kb)
3. Update for Background Intel Trnasfer Service (Bits) 2.0 & Win HTTP 5.1 (KB 842773)
4. Security Update for WinXP (KB 841873-307 kb)-Vunerabilty in Task Scheduler
5. Security Update for WinXP (KB 839645-677 kb)*****
***** Vunerability in HTML-This one replaces the shell32.dll
Older ver: 6.0.2800.1233--->Both Chris's V5.1 & stefanka's shell32.dll was this older version
Latest ver: 6.0.2800.1556***
Wow, did I have fun yesterday, as it took me about 4-5 hrs to replace/hack the entire new shell32.dll with resources from stefanka's shell32.dll...
Bottom line, is my system is completely patched properly and I still have the nice look of the modded sysfiles...
I had a great mentor, and his name is Chris!!!
The only issue that I had after replacing the entire shell32.dll--->Icon Group was my dam 'Task Scheduler' in both:
C:\Windows & in the Control Panel were still the dam WinXP icons/folders...
So after letting my brain/wrist rest, I then figured out that one of the recent patches was for Vunerability in Task Scheduler, so I looked at the 'mstask.dll' and it was a new one: Ver: 5.1.2600.1564...then I hacked the 'Icon Group' here and now I'm all set!!!
Thanks Chris, for your always great advice, & thorough knowledge to allow me to do this! Hell, I even changed my Explorer.exe toolbar (Bitmaps # 104, # 105, #214, & #215 in shell32.dll), and now have stefanKa's cool 'Alternative Toolbar' here for a change...

Going to Windows Update after all of this determined work, and having '0' Critical Patches needed is very nice...
2 all german users:
Ist es nicht möglich das jemand der den aktuellsten deutschen
Updatestand hat seine Files als RAR ins P2P stellt (Emule/Edonkey),
so gäbe es kein Trafficproblem und viele könnten davon profitieren ?
Thanks in advance !
Hi
I downloaded this yesterday and seem to keep getting a "windows file protection" error occasionally. It's not one of those usual ones, it seems to be a more important one. Says something about control.man? It's trying to find the file in C:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386/control.man (i think)
Anyone know how to stop this message appearing?
Thanks.

Just ran BatchMod. It rocks. No critical update problems for me now.
But on the issue of the "print photos online" being disabled -- I don't care about that, but I do care about the "print pictures" being disabled (both in the explorer and context menus). I'm pretty sure these are related, but I don't understand why it's happening at all.
Anyway, I Batch Mod.
theres another thread about it
