so explain to me why the main screen shot doesnt have this glitch?
Go to this link (Safari Homepage) - you'll see that this isn't a glitch, but 100% beautiful, genuine, original Safari emulation!!
Cheers!
i believe hes talking about the white space, not the brushed space before the tab, but the white (about 1 or 2 pixel) space from the edge of the window and the brushed space.
ya thats right
what extensions do you have installed mntnbkr1065?
i fixed this, but lost that fix when i upgraded(i deleted it) so i can't remember where it was.
its a fix in one of the extensions... i could swear it was the extra toolbar buttons extension but that isn't necessary for the theme(and it doesn't look like your using it).
i'm on 0.9 so i don't have those old extensions or theme anymore.
I know I am probably a little late but I just installed the pixelperfect .2 theme and my preferences panel does not work. I tried to download the fix from this topic but the link is dead, I have been searching and cannot find anything at all. Could someone please post these files so I can get back to doing things like downloading and setting up plugins.
No matter what I do, any settings that I set up do not change at all. As of right now I have to open internet explorer in order to download anything
i love this theme but when i installed it i got these problems:
1) the foward/back and stop buttons don't work (they don't function and i don't get a rollover)
2) the bookmarks toolbar shows no bookmarks even though i have some (clicking on the book thingy still opens the panel though)
3) the address bar doesn't change when i visit different webpages unless i type it
4) after i finish customizing the toolbar and hit 'done' the file, edit etc.. text becomes very light gray and the menus don't work anymore
5) when i try to install the compact menu and tabbed browser extensions i get this error:
XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: chrome://mozapps/content/extensions/extensions.xul?type=extensions
Line Number 18, Column 34:
orient="vertical" title"&extensions.title;" statictitle="&extensions.title;"------------------------^
6) think this may be the result of that but; the tiny image of the sight is on the left side of the tab, not the right; and the 'x' is at the right edge not on the left side of the tab (and it is so right that its touching the edge!!!)
7) i cannot edit my prefs and even though i changed it in about:config the homepage still is mozilla
8) the homepage doesn't appear n startup
other than that i think it looks great!! just needs some (or alot) of code fixes etc..

i dont believe there is anything wrong with the code, or that there are many bugs... it works perfectly for me. perhaps there is an error or two on your part during installation.
I'm not sure whether or not to try this theme. Is there any difference between this and Safarifox, which I already have?
how come the navigation icons appear ok in the customization box, but after i drag them onto the menu bar, they just change back to the original icons that come with the firefox?
Upd: never mind, i got the one for 0.9 working
Does anyone know what the heck I did wrong? Everything's all.... Jacked-up... Sorry about the low-quality pic. I would have used a PNG image, but there's a size limit. Anyway, the problems should be easy to spot. Plus, the address bar doesn't change unless I type it, the forward and back buttons don't function unless I right click them, and I have no homepage. Also, the search bar is messed up. The text goes offscreen when I type. Someone PLEASE help me!!

Yeah, that's the exact same problem I'm having. How'd ya do it?

*sigh* Is anyone even gonna bother to help me?
EDIT: I found out I can't bookmark either.... Someone PLEASE help me..
sickness. thanks man ![]()
God, am I the only one who's having trouble?
I think that is enough "help me please" messages, someone will help you when they can, if they havent helped you yet is for a reason. Now, be quiet and stop flooding, it is not well seen.
And forget about this mod. Go to hills' site - http://beverlyhills.web.infoseek.co.jp/themes.html
- there's a great firefox > safari mod. IMo it's a lot better than pixelperfect. Why? Because hills keeps working on it.
