If the AvePreview window is open and loses focus (say I click the taskbar), I can no longer click on the caption bar of the AvePreview window.Not a problem if the full window is shown. But if it is rolled up, I cannot access the preview window unless I close the program then open it again.
Try to redownload - I fixed a stupid minimize-bug. Also, which skin?

Duckies skins has not yet been updated to the latest and greatest release 
note that this is still an experimental release to get as close to OSX windows as possible.

It's up to the skinners now. If they approve the current skinning way, I can continue on extra things like a toolbar and even other apps based on this: movie player, finder clone, etc... :smartass:
i´m just doing a skin for this great app. i noticed two bugs in the skinning engine.
1. mouseover_roll.png does not work if there´s alpha-transparency in the image. "not work" means: no mouseover state, not clickable. a fully opaque PNG works fine. other buttons seem not to have that problem.
2. if the top height is different for rolled state, VerAlign does not really work for the caption. assuming that VerAlign=0 means aligned to top (as for buttons) text should not move down when VerAlign is set to 0. maybe different definitions for the caption (as for the buttons) would be cool anyways (be it only for colors).
thanks for this cool app. i have plenty of fun with it.
oh, and an other bug:
it seems all the right_top images (active, inactive, rolled, etc.) overlap one pixel with the top images. you see this when there´s lot of transparency in a skin.
also the right_middle and right_bottom images seem to overlap.
it´s pretty visible in the skin i am working on. if you want to, i can send it to you for debugging.

Thanks to hispanicboy I found out that there was a slight error in calculating the buttons positions: it has been fixed now. Just redownload http://mpj.tomaatnet.nl/AvePreview2Beta.zip .
okay, finaly updated all 3 skins to the new engine, Done Opus Digital Cream and GuiPOD

all the right_top images (active, inactive, rolled, etc.) overlap one pixel with the top images. you see this when there´s lot of transparency in a skin.
also the right_middle and right_bottom images seem to overlap.
Andreas is aware of it, it´s tricky to solve though.
SicZero: nah, it´s real. you can even spot the just mentioned bug. guess a release will have to wait until it´s ironed out. who know what spiffy things Andreas might add next and i don´t really want to update every few hours.

so thats why we get a crease of darker shadow spots in our skins eh?
ah its no bigger in my opinion if it cant get fixed
