long time ago when AveDesk was still in it`s early stages i knew Av will be our new Aqua God. And i was right!
i won`t comment anymore on any of his apps cause all of them are flawless!

just wanted to put in a request to have "square resizing" when the shift key is held when you're dragging for a resize
square resizing as in maintaining the original aspect ratio?
yep - i couldn't think of what to call it, but that's a much more succint way of putting it
i aggree about the image resizing thing. And also, kudos to andreas for the shade feature... its awesome, and very mac-like
Thanks Duckman!, but I have to warn you. I am changing some things again to get as close to the real OSX thing... Creating different images for inactive state, so that the shadow could be less. Sorry :cry:

The borders can now have different settings for active/inactive state, so the amount of shadow can be set according to the state of the window like on OSX.
Also, the top-border can have different images for rolled up/not rolled up state, allowing it to shadow beneath the bottom of it.
If there is anything else for the borders to be more os-x-a-like, let me know

one suggestion:
finalize the skining part as soon as possible cause i know few people that would try and make some nice skins, but they`re afraid that you will change the skining part and their skins will be unusable

Yeah I know, but user input is one of the most important things. I hope that this release is the "final" release 
.
one more thing and i think AV would agree with me.
i know that leeching is a "common" practice for some members but developers spend lots of time developing these apps and i think they deserve and except some feedback. it`s a mutualy positive relationship. they know that users like their progs, and users, by suggesting new stuff and reporting bugs, get a better app.

ok, i dont' want to be seen as a nit picker, not sure how stabel everythign should be at this stage, but here is some results form my machine...
when i select off avepreview, then click back on the title bar, it "shifts" to the right some. you can view a preview here, not sure why the skin dind't show up in my screen capture, but you should get the idea.

I finally got to DL this app.
Wow.
This pulls up faster than Picture and Fax Viewer!
I'm not sure about the semi-transparent title bar with the XP skin. I need to find a working panther skin and see what it looks like.
Edit: for now, the Duckie skin is acting alittle funny. The toolbar doesn't always want to be selected. I think I'll stick with the XPish skin for now.
Just having a really quick picture viewer is enough for now.

With Duckies latest(?) skin, the caption bar does not always get clicked on. The caption buttons don't always work. With the XP skin, the caption bar and buttons work fine.

i think this may be due to the fact that AndreasV changed some the the skinning elements since that skin Duckie created.

not sure if Duckie has updated his skin since that realease by AndreasV
this is of course just my guess
okay i updated and remade digicream for the new enginen enhancments (i love the inactive alpha titlebar option, gives you a feeling like the old OSX, i loved that feature)
anyways, my Inactive Buttons to do not show, when the window is inactive, it still shows the active state of the buttons.
Also if you resize Avepreview, press the roll up button, avepreview will resize it self, when you put your mouse over the rolled up title bar, it then expands back out, kinda of a twitchy glitch.
these are my observations, great addons to the engine im loving this thing
ill finish my 2 other themes for the new enhancements tomorrow and release them all together!

Fixed the bugs mentioned with thanks to Bolero and hispanicboy.
I hope the borders now work well enough so I can concentrate on a skinned toolbar and skinned scrollbars next.

If the AvePreview window is open and loses focus (say I click the taskbar), I can no longer click on the caption bar of the AvePreview window.
Not a problem if the full window is shown. But if it is rolled up, I cannot access the preview window unless I close the program then open it again.
Kind if like if you set an AveDesk desklet or Samurize config to "clickthrough" but only the caption bar does this.
