well, how you guys doing? i hope this finds you all well. truth be told, i've never posted much in aqua-soft, maybe a couple of times. but let's get right to it: i've seen in the last months some projects starting to clone iCal, but they've gone straight to nowhere. so i finally decided to clone it myself. i started it today morning, and i'm kinda 50% through with the gui stuff. as far as the actual code and all, pretty much all you can do by now is just draw the little squares that represent appointments. here's a screenshot:

i'm totally aware that the screenshot is quite unimpressive, but again, it's really early in the developing stages, i've only been working on these 2 hours, but it's coming along nicely. I'll realese an alpha of the project tomorrow, so you guys can try it out and give me some feedback, you know, what's working, what's not, what needs to be added, what need to go out and stuff like that. I plan to realese the full app in a week or so, but it's gonna be the light version, which means that you can only make appointments and stuff for the current week. the final app, i mean the full total working clone of iCal will probably be released within march, that's assuming i can find someone to give me some resources i'll be needing and some info on the behaviour of the real app.
anyway, that's pretty much it, hope you guys like the info and the ss, and keep checking this thread for the alpha and more info coming next week.
