I found my answer on some site. Jus need to

install COMCTL32.OCX

and the prob will be fixed.

you can dl it here:

www.angelfire.com/rnb/ndp2003/COMCTL32.zip

install into ur system32 folder

then Run >type regsvr32.exe COMCTL32.OCX to register the file.

cassiel......

im running winME and it works but when the screensaver is running it keeps pausing and then u see like the title bar of a window minimize and it keeps running......this happens like every 10 seconds........

im running the nostalgic screensaver.....i also have winamp, trillian and some firewall/antivirus stuff running....can u help me out?

It only works correct on Windows 2000 / Windows XP. Sorry dude ...

Man I'm weird I hate stuff that runs on my computer at boot up. Like windowblinds... can't stand it. I'd rather skin explorers source code in prolog than have a third party app running.

XP loads standard with 14 processes running, I have 16 because I can't live without Y'shadow and object dock.

All the systems files I replaced to get the perfect (and I do mean perfect, throbbers, susumu progress, 72 pix icons etc) aqua -look, ran my bootup pf usage from 60 to 100 mb, I got 320 so that's no real big deal.

But man I hate stuff running on bootup, probably cos my laptop is only a PIII500 with a dead slow mobility vid card.

Problem is I really want to use stuff like what Cassiel writes, I really do. But MAN do I hate stuff running on my computer at bootup... is there any medication or therapy any one is familiar with to help me out?

My xApps don't run on windows startup after installing! They create just a program group - you can choose by yourself if you want to run it on startup or not. I don't get your problem
