i've made some sort of a terminal... you'll need the aquacontrols as usual:

and of course C:, D:, E:, etc. for switching drives.
no fancy stuff... yet 
EDIT: "fixed" mouseover thing. just redownload the exe.
ADDED: small shadow. have to ask jef how to make it larger...
ADDED: color changing option. type in "chg" to change colors.

It seems every app i touch works buggily on my comp!
My cursor disappears when it's over your app! I'm not using cursorxp or anything similar... just plain 32bit cursors...
a few suggestions:
- could you make a thin border of some sort around the window (i.e. "dirty" white on the white bg version or grey on black one)
- picture backgrounds
- transparent bg would be extremely NICE...
- various types of cursors (block, line, blinking, fading etc.)

PS: last three suggestions are implemented in a win2000/xp terminal my friend coded some time ago in visual c++ ... i can ask him if you can use his source (it's open if i remember correctly, but just to make sure) if you want!
And one more thing...
a TRUE shell (instead of few fake commands) would be nice...

agree with everything, only i disagree with making a border around the window..

it works JUST PERFECT!!! 
if you read my post above, the cursor is supposed to disappear. but, i'll change that in a few minutes after i eat breakfast
a picture background is possible, but a choice atm is pretty much out of the question.
i'm working on a transparent bg AND a shadow. not a really nice looking shadow, but it's there.
"fixed" the mouse issue. redownload the exe.
added color changing option.
type in "chg" to change colors. there's only one option right now... please suggest other color combinations
as usual, re-down the exe.

See, most child windows in the osx (if not all) appear to slide down from the parent's title bar.
i dont really have a screenshot now, but if u have aqua-mail, you'll see that in its prefrences, jef did a cool job where the child window slides down really cool from the title bar ->
basically thats the best description that can be given.
that would be FINAL if you could do that. if not, then its sweet anyway - its just a lil thing that will make it look REALLY osxish.

Great job!.. When i change the colors to 'black background, red text' the app crashes, but all the other color schoices seem to work ok
